A fun take on a classic game
As a family we have loved Jenga - we have the original table top game and a huge garden set. We thought we would love this “off the table” set but to be honest it was a tad frustrating to play. As you are now holding a set balance becomes an issue as date I mention it but bad gamesmanship - when passing it over to another player some “those who shan’t be mentioned” in our family tried to wobble it at the last second .....gggrrr!I would suggest that this could be a fun party game - we have enjoyed with a bbq and some alcohol fuelled friends.I think children could lose interest very quickly as it is quite challenging. The company suggest some tricky passes such as under the leg - not for us it was challenging enough just passing with both feet planted firmly on the ground. The game is quite inexpensive so worth it for a fun game.

Good game Good game
For adults, this is a must with a couple of drinks, will soon become hilarious, and show those that are drinking the heaviest. For kids, a great twist on an already good game. Does it add additional value to the original game - well a little, if I had to buy this one or the original, I would buy this one again as Jenga comes on its own, the passing platform is an option then, dependant on how seriously you take the game - or indeed how much of a purist you are!Great fun at the price, and with a crowd of 6 or more, a Christmas game in the making..

frustrating
A take on traditional jenga but not really anything new other than having to pass the tower around. Which seems like a bit of over engineering. It just becomes a futile exercise in frustration. Not for us.

A fun twist
Jenga is an old favourite, every can play and understand the rules. This is a fun twist, where rather than the tower being built on a flat surface, it's on a hand held platform which is passed from player to player. Its definitely more challenging which is fun for some, however made it more trickier for younger members of the family. We went back to using it in the original way meaning a standard Jenga set would do.

A good variation on Jenga
This is an interesting take on the game of Jenga, but it doesn't really add much to the game other than a stand to put the blocks on, and it comes with less blocks than the original. 27 instead of 54. I guess you could add them together for an extra hard game! What it does give you is ideas of games you can play within the game, variations if you will, like using chopsticks or passing it between someone else's legs (really!).I think it's one of those things where if you already have a Jenga set you probably won't get much from this, but if you don't it's a good way to start; and more fun for younger players for sure. The set and its parts are all the good quality you'd expect from a branded set. The wood is smooth and splinter free, and boy does it smell good.Personally I'd go for a proper Jenga to get 54 pieces but I'm an adult.

Simple or Sophisticated
Three generations of my family including 4 children and 10 grandchildren have all enjoyed the excitingly competitive traditional ‘Jenga’ game. Even toddlers could take part (if allowed to use 2 hands!) and all share gripping and tense moments around either the kitchen table or on their knees at a coffee table in the lounge. The original game’s simplicity was its greatest attribute – but this is deliberately missing in the new sophisticated ‘Jenga Pass Challenge’.The new game is provided with fewer blocks as it becomes too difficult to stack high, and even more so to carefully transfer the hand-held platform to the next player. The focus of the game seems to be drawn to the 2 involved in successfully removing a block, adding this to the top of the stack, and then passing on; whereas traditional games requiring a greater number of blocks included everybody as they waited with baited breath and wished someone else would topple the stack.Suggested game play variations are gimmicky, though the new game is fine in its own way (especially when sitting in chairs, sofa etc.) – but it falls short of a 5-star rating.

FUN FOR EXPERIENCED JENGA PLAYERS!
I have never played Jenga before and I found the instructions very confusing. I think they are meant for people who have played the table or giant version before and know the basics. It was not clear about how to go about removing blocks and if you put them back on top. However, we decided that you must have to put them back on top as the instructions said "build the tower".The extra element to this game is very, very amusing. Instead of building the tower on the table you build it on a platform which you then have to pass to the next player without the tower falling. This makes the game a lot more challenging and a lot more fun with friends, as you don't have to sit around a table. You can play this in the pub garden!!!I got bored with it quite quickly but that's because it's maybe not my cup of tea. I prefer a good game of cards or Monopoly to be honest!

Twister x Jenga MASHUP!
So what happens when you combine Hasbro Twister Game with Hasbro A2120E180 Classic Jenga Game? You get Jenga Pass Challenge! It is fun and will undoubtedly be great for families, children and drunk adults ;)I prefer personally the classic Jenga for its long term use but the novelty of this will make it a great gift when Christmas rolls around.
