*The skin fits beautifully over my laptop keyboard and is easy to clean. Over the past year, I just pull it off occassionally, shake it out and put it back. It protects the internal components and circuitry from dust and crumbs. It is easy to clean, and also protects the keys from getting worn down. *Before I had heard about this type of skin or protective cover there were some more frequently used keys on the keyboard where a letter would get faded or no longer be visible. Now the keyboard is more sustainable. *After nearly one year I find that the black color on the space bar is worn off where I repeatedly use thumb finger to space. No color is worn off where any of the other keys are. For aesthetic purposes I may get a new keyboard cover at some point.
