Perfect for tteokbokki
Me and my family love making tteokbokki at home. I recommend soaking these for 30 mins before you start cooking, it makes them softer and chewier. I do kind of wish they came in smaller packets - 1 whole packet serves my 3 person family maybe 4 times, so we have to cut them in half and save half the pack for later in the fridge, but they do NOT last very long once opened, so be mindful of that. The taste is great though, and while it is somewhat expensive, it's worth it as a treat for something authentic.

plastic
couldn’t break them apart, very plasticky, pretty much inedible. The packaging was stuck to the rice cakes, it was hard to know what was edible casing and what wasn’t.

Lovely
At first I found the packaging annoying and the Tteokbokki was stuck together. However, after soaking it in warm water for 30 mins and separating them with a knife it tasted amazing when cooked in sauce.
