Merino Wool Hiking Running Socks for Women, Boot Work Crew Socks

These socks are great! I fell in love with wool socks over the summer when I bought a very expensive pair at REI while trying on new hiking boots. I immediately wanted several pairs, but was not about to pay $23 a pair, which is what the going price for the socks there was. I found another brand (which had boring colors) on amazon that were quite good, and I like as well. These came up in my feed and I thought the colors looked fun, so took a chance on them for the price, and i am so glad I did. They are thicker than cotton socks, but not so thick that they make shoes tight. No annoying seams that rub anywhere. They are soft and cozy, and do not itch at all. The colors are good, and they have worn several days in a row with just airing the out at night- and didn't get stinky. They wash well- but I do hang all my wool socks to dry. The colors were colorfast and I have not seen any pilling just yet. They have kept my feet nice and warm the last week when our weather started turning colder, and my feet have not gotten sweaty at all. For the cost, they are great! Much better than my plain cotton socks, without the big price tag of some of the other brands.

Really nice wool socks. Fit great—very comfortable. Wasn’t sure about wearing them this summer but they don’t make my feet hot or sweaty. Love the colors. I have not washed them yet but don’t see why the won’t launder well, especially if using typically recommended washing and drying methods for any wool product.

I bought these for my son and I for a trip to Iceland and they were fantastic they are thick enough to feel comfortable and Squishy without being overly thick and making shoes uncomfortable, I think they're pretty waterproof because my feet did not get wet despite every other part of my body being wet . They are warm enough to prevent against the cold but I don't get hot in fact I even use them when I work out or go hiking. I have worn them in a multitude of situations and have not yet been in a situation where I had wished I had chosen something different . My husband started stealing them so I had to buy some for him so now all of us have the same socks. If anything that's the biggest problem is that we can't tell our socks apart anymore because we all have these in a multitude of colors. It literally never thought I'd ever be excited about socks but here we are.

I love these socks. It is like a warm hug wearing them. I get cold feet and especially cold ankles. These may not work in the dead of winter with snow on the ground (we’ll have to see - but I’ll try next winter) but they are working great today. It is cool and rainy and just what I need to keep my toes and ankles warm. I love the softness and the fit, just enough support around arch, and elastic at top is perfect. I love having 70% wool socks - very hard to find. I highly recommend these.

This might not be the wool socks of your childhood, but I can’t say enough how absolutely adorable they are in terms of the different colors, and frankly, they are super warm, cozy and comfortable. The height is just perfect, I do not get any blisters, the size is precise, actually quite versatile although I prefer wearing them at night in my pajamas. Very breathable and I would also say giftable.

Bought these before some international travel/full-day hiking to supplement my fancier REI-sourced wool socks and were pleased, when they arrived, with how soft they felt. A bit loose (bought M, my feet are ~7-8 women's size) but very soft and comfortable. No issues with walking around in them all day; In fact, I generally preferred these to the REI-sourced socks. And they have remained nice through a few washings. Nice colors as well.

Use these for hiking in every season, and love them! Great quality, cute colors. No compression, but I feel as though they regulate foot temperature well

Amazing! My feet have never felt so good!! Where have these socks been my whole life?!?! I mean it! These are wonderful socks! I have neuropathy and Reynards syndrome. Which means I have numbness in my feet and they are always cold and hurting. These make my feet warm and cozy. The socks are so soft and cushioning. Treat yourself well and get these socks. You will not regret it but want to buy more!

These socks seem to have a high wool content so they do feel nice and warm despite the fabric not being very thick. I wear a UK size 6 shoe, so I got these socks in a Medium size. I would say that they can feel a little tight on my calves, but repeat washing at low temperatures seems to help with that. I like these socks so much for dealing with the cold that I've made a repeat order of them so that I won't run out over the Winter. I would be happy to recommend these.
