This book has been wonderful for my 8-year-old. The instructions are easy to follow, the songs are fun, and it keeps her excited to practice. A great choice for beginners!

Very good for beginners. Gives a clear progression for the student to follow and teases at a larger world if they stick to it. Well plotted out and paced.

I have taught piano for over ten years and have my B.M. in piano pedagogy. I use this book for my students under five years of age. I have had no problems. They love the pictures and activities the book provides. I supplement lots of extra rhythm activities and staff reading exercises, but I do this for every teaching method. Granted, this is for toddler to age five possibly six depending on student maturity and learning rates. I do not recommend this for ages seven and up. The lesson books that follow are also great. Happy teaching!

I use My First Piano Adventure Lesson Book B for students who have completed Book A, and I find it much easier to teach. Extremely cute and well made. However we had to return it because the headpiece is extremely small definitely an infant size. The 2T body pièce is well fitting.

Exactly what we needed. Would buy again. Our piano teacher uses this book to teach.
