The sheeting is decently thick; while I cannot verify the exact mils, this is definitely thicker than the stuff you use to line a mud-based shower stall, so I do not doubt that it would hold up to most normal natural exposure. It is thin enough though that it flexed around my fiberglass rods in a straightforward manner, making overall setup simple, after being clipped into place.
