## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I select the correct size shoe?**
A: Measure each foot in cm. Use the larger foot for sizing. For wide feet, choose a wide model or go 1-2 sizes larger.

**Q: How do I know my shoe fits properly?**
A: Cycling shoes prioritize stability and power efficiency. A proper fit is snug, supports the arch, allows slight toe movement. Excessive heel slippage indicates sizing issues. Check seams, straps, and folds for comfort.

**Q: What last and width are SHIMANO shoes available in?**
A: SHIMANO DYNALAST offers standard and wide lasts, catering to 90% of riders. The wide last suits those with broader feet, ensuring a better fit without requiring a size increase.

**Q: Why do cycling shoes feel stiff when I walk in them?**
A: A cycling shoe’s sole is engineered to support your foot in a stable position and distribute pressure from the pedal with little flex while pedaling. Therefore, it does not flex like most footwear when you walk in them.

**Q: Are SHIMANO cycling shoes vegan-friendly?**
A: SHIMANO does not use any animal byproducts in the production of our cycling shoes.
