Soooo in pictures the dress looks amazing and I got a lot of compliments but it’s very cheaply made and unfortunately not very comfortable as it likes to slide down off the chest. As long as you don’t be very active, the dress will work fine but it’s definitely a one event dress in my opinion. again it looks amazing in pictures. You would never know that it’s not comfortable. So if you want just for looks. Try it. Comfort dont buy it

Lin Lin Q Women's Maxi Formal Off Shoulder Sequin. The dress was beautiful and well-made, but being off the shoulder a bit me the top of the dress look or feel looser than it should, but with a little tailoring, to make it tighter at the top worked beautifully.

I'm 5'3", around 119 lbs, and carry my weight around my hips / thighs. I usually buy XS or S for my tops, and M for my booty. My bra size is 34A, but it's probably a AA since I am so flat-chested. As you can imagine, if I had breast implants, I would be exactly an hourglass figure.With all that said! I followed up the size guide, got an S and it was too big, specifically around the waist, and especially the chest. I went a size down, and it fits a LOT better. I generally have a flatter stomach. Because the material is stretchy, you have some wiggle room to fit in a wider hip like me.Unfortunately, the chest area is still a problem for me specifically, even with the inline bra that is there. I added some of those sticky bras and it's helped although of course, looks a bit funky since I'm quite flat chested, but definitely much better.The seams that splits between the top and the bottom is a bit weird and you can see a slight bump of the seam. However, it's not super noticeable, but because I have such a slim waist, you can see it a bit. I doubt anyone will be looking for it though.Finally, it is quite long. I'm wearing platform heels for comfort, and they are still so long despite the heels which maybe gives me at least 3 inches. It can look nice dragging on the floor at that length, but I do risk falling. What I'm thinking of doing rather than hem it (I don't have time), I'm going to put 2 pins in the back on the bottom like you would do for a wedding dress (except for a wedding dress you would actually sew in a nice button).One more thing, some of the sequins do flake off. I have left some around the room to my husband's dismay. You can't really tell on the dress, but hey, you are paying a great value for such a nice gown. All in all, an absolutely stunning dress especially for what you're paying.

To give this review some context: I’m usually a 00 or XXS with my towering height of 5’1” and 95# of womanhood. I ordered this dress inn in navy, size XS. To say I was hopeful in ordering this dress is an understatement! But I saw some similar at Dillard’s for thrice the price, so I took advantage of Amazon’s try before you buy option and held my breath.It arrived in just 2 days, so I could take a breath-The dress is from a brand called Missord also available on SHEIN.To get to the punch line, the fabric was so comfortable and stretchy, and the sequins were light and small, just like they look in the photos. I loved the overall weight for a winter gown - the lining gives it a beautiful drape to complement the mermaid shape which would have worked nicely for my height if I had just hemmed it. The shoulder straps have wide elastic underneath that can be concealed so they can be positioned higher or lower and will stay in place without slipping. If fabric was the only issue, I would have kept it. But I’m fairly flat chested- 32A. The sweetheart bodice is heavily padded so that it could easily be worn without a bra. In my case, I could have honestly stuffed a soccer ball in each cup with the stretch that this offers. That being said, once I realized how much room there was in the cups (and that soccer balls were not an option to keep the girls up), it was also apparent that the fabric under the arms while forgiving and stretchy was just too wide for my frame.I wanted to keep it - I want a sparkly, swooshing mermaid gown like this to fit! But I’ll have to check back with lulus for more realistic petite sizes.Sadly, I am returning this belle-of-the-bargains Mardi Gras gown for something slimmer.Good luck, glamorous gals!

Bought this dress for a formal gala event that was out of town ! I was sooo SKEPTICAL that I purchased a back up dress from Macys before this one arrived just to be safe!Omg when this dress arrived I was pleasantly surprised…the color is INCREDIBLE!! But here are the deets:I am 5’7 about 175LBS and I sized up based on reviews thank goodness I did the dress was just right, snug but not uncomfortable. I ordered an XL …People mentioned the arm area being scratchy or uncomfortable, it is a smaller than most dresses opening for the arms so it tended to be snug and the fabric when rubbed against the inner part of the upper arm can feel scratchy(This is why I think that happened) …The straps have a white elastic underneath to hold it in place however the elastic keeps slipping making you want to keep adjusting the strap by doing so you keep moving your arm and creating friction therefore scratching it against the fabric .. my solution: I pinned the white elastic strap to the green strap with a safety pin and the strap stayed in place all night I didn’t have to fuss with the strap moving etc … the dress is polyester and it has a nice thick lining if you wear a girdle ; Spanx or waist trainer there is no way for it to show bcz the sequence is so prominent that it distracts from anything underneath .. the dress is long ..I am 5’7” and I wore 2.5 inch heels and still the dress was floor length … I didn’t wear a bra the dress has inner cups that are super supportive. When I tried it w a strapless it was like I was wearing 2 bras. The inner bra kept everything in place and it had cups that were very well placed and done… I got a million compliments all night … if you are looking for a show stopper get this dress .. the green was BOLD so if you want to be seen! GET THE GREEN!!! 💚

Great dress for the price.. however, scent of perfume mixed with ARMPIT odor was not advertised. Returning item - this was clearly used.
