Great product, and fantastic value as well. Bought as a bundle package with the 400w portable solar panel and an additional 1.5Kw battery pack. 3Kw power station that was at least £1000 cheaper than any alternative product. Like most, the only gripe is the display panel; it is far too dim and can not be easily seen, even under ambient light conditions. Fix that, and VTOMan will have cracked it. Whilst it will take years to pay back the investment, that isn't the point. I will power some house lights and my computer rig - I estimate it will save 50p a day. Doesn't sound much, but that is £180 a year, and it's green and gives you that overall smug feeling that you are at least doing your bit to save the planet.

Good station, better reviews than some others seems to do what's on the tin, time will tell if reliable or any issues but so far so good.

Superbly presented - so colourful and well built- solid...beautiful style, and well packaged too, plus excellent delivery. Looks the business, is the business and we're very happy with this excellent high quality reliable product...so easy to use and joy to look at too. Can't wait for power cuts so we can use more often!

Whilst I am very happy with the unit, have taken it camping and its proved invaluable and long lasting. check when it arrives that the cables are all there. I'm now to-ing and fro-ing in messenger trying to get the missing cables. One is an important charger for the unit that plugs into the cars cigarette lighter so you can recharge the unit driving along and the other is a jumper cable set that was free with the unit at the time. Would have given 5 stars if it came with cables complete!

I had a problem with the delivery however once I contacted vtoman they quickly resolve the issue and contacted me to make sure there was no other issues regarding the product. I am very pleased with the product and it has performed as advertised

I’m not so lucky…First unit I used about only two trips with my Motorhome and it’s failed something burns inside unit my solar panels supplied only 200 watts..6 weeks later I got replaced with new unit about 60% charge so I connected to my solar panels and first day seems all fine next morning all fully charged I connected Motorhomes 240 volts just to backup vehicle battery and all really great… All time monitored.. no hot cables or high temperature around unit….in the evening I left only solar panels connected to Vtoman unit…. Next morning I found unit badly smelling burnt plastic and no charge himself or supplies 240 … Seems like this unit still row…. I’m absolutely disappointed paying 800 £ plus for Vtoman 1000 and additional 1500 watt Vtoman extra battery which I can only use with Vtoman gear.. This unit supposedly has to look for himself and switch off or trip if’s something wrong but not burn himself down every time.

I was surprised at how well it can charge from solar, even in the UK. It's June, so starting to get more sun, but even on cloudy days I'm still getting enough to reclaim the energy spent charging a few smart devices overnight. On a sunny cloudless day, I can easily charge the full battery as long as I rotate the panels at least every hour or two. I was expecting worse :).Do note that if you are expecting to get 1.5kWh (or 3kWh with the extra battery) from the AC plugs, you won't. DC and USB you'll get pretty close, but the AC inverter seems to take quite a bit of power just to simply enable the plugs, so for my CPAP, I have got a DC-DC converter instead of using the AC plug, which makes it a lot more efficient. I would not recommend expecting to use the AC plugs all night / day, unless you expect to be able to fully reclaim the power daily.Having said that, that issue will not likely be specific to this device, converting DC battery supply to AC isn't very efficient generally.

This is my fourth vtoman station and they work very well. This one for being able to use low voltage panels.12 to 50 volts so can use older panels. I like that all the plug in point's on on the front and and the good appearance it gives.And it wakes up as the sun comes up.
