Review: Beautiful and Fun Pirate Costume - I absolutely loved this pirate costume! The design is beautiful, flattering, and has so many cute details. It was comfortable to wear and perfect for a themed party. I received many compliments and was very happy with the overall look and quality. Review: A must buy 🤩👍🏾 - This costume caught my attention due to its comfortable appearance and non-revealing design. Upon receiving the actual product, as seen in this photo, I was excited to try it on and evaluate the fit and overall look. I am delighted to say that my choice exceeded my expectations. The XX size was ideal, as I was uncertain about the material's properties. The material features stretch, lacks a strong scent, and does not cause skin irritation. I am eager to wear it to the upcoming Halloween costume party. As a reference, I typically wear ladies' sizes 14/16, weigh 214 pounds, and stand 5'4" tall. I hope this review proves helpful. ## Features - Costume Includes: Dress, Hat with Feather, Sleeves, Belt, Pouch - Adult: M (8-10) Chest 38" Waist 29" Hips 39" Height 68" Up to 140 Lbs. - Dress with sweetheart neckline and combined black and gold vest - Ruffled Pirate Hat and feather - Pair of ruffled sleeves - Belt with decorative buckle, closes in back with hook and loop fastener ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00BBB2EZG | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Apparel Fabric Weight Class | Lightweight | | Best Sellers Rank | #156,137 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #891 in Women's Costumes | | Brand Name | California Costumes | | Care instructions | Spot Clean Only | | Closure Type | Ties | | Color | Black/Red | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 2,156 Reviews | | Fabric Type | 100% Polyester | | Fabric type | 100% Polyester | | Fit Type | slim | | Fit to Size Sentiment | fits true to size | | Garment Size Country | United States | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00019519049110 | | Import Designation | Imported | | Included Components | Belt, Dress, Hat with Feather, Pouch, Sleeves | | Item Type Name | Adult-Sized Costume | | Item Weight | 16 ounces | | Manufacturer | California Costumes | | Material | Polyester | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Occasion | Halloween | | Origin | Imported | | Part Number | 01196 M | | Pattern | Cartoon | | Product Care Instructions | Spot Clean Only | | Size | Medium | | Sleeve Length Description | Short Sleeve | | Special Sizes | Standard | | Style Name | Spanish Pirate | | Style Number | 01196 M | | Target Audience | Unisex-Adults, Women | | Theme | Pirate | | UPC | 019519049110 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | character | Pirate | ## Images ![California Costumes Women's Eye Candy - Spanish Pirate Adult - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61PktK+OirL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful and Fun Pirate Costume *by N***S on September 5, 2026* I absolutely loved this pirate costume! The hat was mostly in tact. I tried it on, and I dont think it’s super flattering. It fits well enough, but the sleeves are uncomfortable. They’re tight at the top and loose on the bottom (makes sense why they looked longer in customer photos than on the model). I think they would drive me crazy after a short while. Either that or I’d get used to them. As others have said, the belt is too big. I think I could make it work with tape if I wanted. It’s a halter dress with ties around the neck and no fabric covering the top of the back. I couldn’t tell in customer photos and there’s no picture of the back in the ad. There’s no zipper, so it goes on over your head or you can step into it if you’re slim enough. I don’t like how the laces on the front of the top have to be loose. I think that makes it look less flattering. It’s very short, and I’m very short. So, it would be very, very short on anyone of average height and even shorter on a tall person. I’d definitely wear a petticoat and tights with it. All of that said, it’s an almost complete costume (boots, sword and jewelry not included) for a decent price. Maybe it would look better in other colors? --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/5853451-california-costumes-womens-eye-candy-spanish-pirate-adult](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/5853451-california-costumes-womens-eye-candy-spanish-pirate-adult) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
