Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Worth every penny - What can I say? I was looking for a book to give me a solid understanding of the art of drawing caricatures, and this book delivers on every front. I am looking to switch from traditional portraiture to something a little more fun, and can safely say that Tom Richmond has hit the nail on the head. The first thing to note is the quality of the book itself; nicely weighted glossy paper just full of high quality images with well formatted text. It may sound like an odd thing to say, but having bought many a reference/photography/illustrators book in the past, it's refreshing to see a book printed on quality paper and in colour. There are plenty of ways of drawing caricatures out there, but I found Tom's approach logical, educational and easy to follow. Be prepared to learn about the human face, its structure, all of the medical names etc - stick with it, as this is one of the most imortant lessons you need to grasp. Finally, it's just a fun book to flick through - there are some very funny caricatures in it! How can a book that has been so well put together not be inspirational? Thanks very much! Review: Absolutley Brilliant Book!! - Absolutley Brilliant Book for the niovice and expert alike. Tom Richmond is a truly amzing MAD caricaturist and the logic in which he explains his process is very good indeed. As a cartoonist myself, I can relate and thought that it would just be a book that I wanted on my bookshelf but on reading it and seeing the wonderful illustrative process now use some of the techniques and my work has improved and my prices for commissioned work has increased. Cool! A must for every artist! Richard Childs [...]

Stunning, educational, and inspirational
A stunning book that taught me a lot about caricature. Study the principles that Tom shares and really learn how to draw the basic features of a face. One thing I found trying to follow Tom's process was that it didn't feel natural to me, but it works perfectly for him. With caricature each style and approach will always be individual and unique. Having this insight to how one of the masters works was a blessing, and I learned more from this book than I hoped. Definitely suited to the modern era of caricature.

A must for any aspiring caricaturist
This book is fantastic. It gives a comprehensive description of how to draw every feature of a caricature with really good examples, and tells you what to do/not to do. I am just starting out and learning, and it is currently my bible. This is the best caricaturist I have ever come across. It is also a good quality book with nice pages and great colour.

As a Graphic Designer, I can hold my own when it comes to drawing or illustration, but I’ve always been fascinated by the caricature and those who can do it and do it well. This is something that I’ve always wanted to be able to do but too scared to try. After watching many videos of other artists I followed one who highly recommended this book by Tom Richmond. It is an amazing book. It’s well written with tons of detail and explanations. It helps shed light on everything that you need to look at when deciding on what to emphasize or exaggerate in a caricature drawing. Highly recommend this for beginners to seasoned professionals.

Ottimo libro per chi vuole approcciarsi al mondo delle caricature. I disegni sono strepitosi. Veramente sorpreso. È in inglese e il testo non è digitalizzato quindi ci vuole un po’ di pazienza se non si conosce qualche parola.
