It has a nice flavor, but is softer than a regular juju candy. When you eat those, you expect them to get stuck to your teeth and almost pull out your filings. That's what's great about juju candies! These don't have that. So if you prefer less chewiness, you found it.

Cherry discs, pretty large in size, huge bag, mid range flavor. I must say they have grown on me. When I 1st tried them they seemed to be lacking in flavor. I’m a cherry sour kind of guy and was biased while trying these. Totally different deal here. Gummy and chewy.

Review of: Goodland Farms Old Fashioned Cherry JuJu Coins, 2 Pounds - Nostalgic Retro Candy, Wholesale Bulk Candy Soft CandyI haven’t had a Cherry JuJu in years, many years, so I opened the resealable bag of Goodland Farms Cherry JuJu Coins just a couple of hours after they arrived; hoping they would taste like I remembered the candy tasty. And I was not disappointed. These JuJu coins are really close in taste, flavor, texture, everything, as I remembered from my childhood.For me, these coins are chewy or ‘gummy’ but they are not a hard chew or have a super-gummy like chew to them. They are more of a softer gummy with a nice mouth feel that does come closer to being a ‘melt-in-my-mouth’ type of experience.The coins do stick to my teeth pretty good; but that is what I expect with any decent soft candy or gummy-like candy.As for taste, I consider these coins to be ‘spot on’ in flavor. The cherry flavor is a more delicate, more subtle taste. Fortunately, unlike the “cherry cough syrup” type of heavy flavor that a lot of cherry products have today these JuJu coins are just the right balance between too little and too much.And, the sweetness of the coin is also in balance. Sweet enough so that there is no hint of a tart-cherry taste, but not so sweet that the cherry flavor is overwhelmed.It’s a giant 2 pound bag, so it’s good that the bag is resealable as I’m going to try to have some kind of portion control with these coins; though I’m not sure how much success I will have with that.

These are so delicious! I used to have these when I was a child all of the time so this brings back a lot of memories and they taste just like I remember! This is a huge bag of candy and it did weigh 2 pounds. The candy is soft and very fresh. Each piece of candy is about the size of a quarter and about ½” thick.My only recommendation is to put a couple in a napkin or bowl and don’t eat out of the bag or you’ll eat way too many. At 100 calories for 5 pieces, it’s easy to eat a large amount of calories really quickly (I learned this from personal experience). It’s Jan of 2023 and they have an expiration date of Oct 31, 2024 so they are good for a while.Overall, I think these are a great treat! I would definitely recommend them and would order them again. I also love that you are supporting a company who makes their products in the USA.
