Keeps the heat out!
I purchased this window tint for my storm door windows, because the heat from the evening sun makes it impossible to keep my door open. Also, when I would shut my door it would get so hot that you could hardly touch it. This has been a game changer! Even with the extreme heat that we have been having, I am able to keep my door open. The heat stays out, my home is easier to cool plus you cannot see inside from the outside, it looks like the inside door is closed. I will be purchasing more to cover all of my west facing windows. I applied this by myself and it was actually quite easy. I did take my time and used lots of soapy water, but it wasn’t difficult at all. Just follow the instructions and use the tools provided. I used a quilters cutting pad to lay it on to cut before applying.

Working Great for 2 years so far
We've had this window tint on our three front windows for over two years now. We put it on the bottom of the front windows. Ours dogs kept messing up the blinds, so we pull the blinds up to cover only the top part of the windows. We didn't want anyone to be able to see in though, so we out this mirrored tint on the bottom. It works great! You can not see in at all during the day. It is only when it is fully dark that you can see in if the lights are on, We close the curtains at night, so no big deal. I watched the directions a few times and read the included instructions. I then cleaned our table off and laid the tint out and cut it to a bit bigger than the window space. My husband grabbed it carefully and put it on the window. You can't even tell it was applied by us. It looks like the windows came tinted. They still look great. Our dogs put their paws and noses on it daily and they some times put their paws and drool on it too. We clean them often with glass cleaner, as well. The tint has never moved or scratched, I would highly recommend this for any home with kids and pets. I believe it is well worth the price.

It is a true mirror finish, but...
I wouldn't say this is easy to install unless you're already familiar with window tinting. It is very sticky (in a good way) and you might find that you will need plenty of spray. You also will need two people. This is a good product, far better than you will find at a big box store, but with a better product, comes the need for patience. I've had this on my front windows for about a month. I don't like the idea of the person at my front door being able to see right into my living room. It works well and unless your put your face right up to the window you cannot see in. There was some slight shrinkage after a few days though. It doesn't bother me much, as I have blinds that cover most of it up and when they're open, it covers the edges. I put this on on separate days. After seeing the shrinkage on the first window, thinking I over smoothed the film, I went light handed with the second window. It still shrank around the edges about 1/16 of an inch. Overall. I do like the mirrow tint, but I won't do anymore windows without someone that is familiar with window tinting. Maybe a car window tint expert could assist? Idk. So to compare, the window film you get a Lowes applies much like this does, but it is mostly a static cling type of film. This stuff is actually tacky on the side that goes onto the window so precise placement is very important. So far, I've had no peeling.

Great product, plenty of privacy!
This was exactly what we needed! Once we put our storm door up for the winter our front door is hit with direct sunlight and gets incredibly hot. This is a great heat deterrent and completely private when looking in from the outside during the day. I definitely needed an extra set of hands to get it lined up and started, but once that was done it was off to the races for me. I’m pretty finicky, so I spent quite a bit of time smoothing all of the bubbles out. You definitely need to have a spray bottle of the soapy water ready and another of plain water when you need to work on smoothing it out.

Love this stuff
I love this stuff. This is my 2nd purchase. I had to finish the windows in my house. This stuff is exactly what I needed. You can see out during the day but even if you put your face up to the window you can't see in. I dont recommend putting it on any windows you look out of often at night. The only down side to using this tinting is you can not see out the window at night. Also keep in mind that during the day this tinting makes it look like it's about to rain all of the time. It works for my purpose. It's also not too hard to put up. It comes with a straight blade knife and a squeegee so that's something you dont have to worry about. I would recommend having some sort of tape so you can separate the film backing from the tinting. Just put a small piece of tape on each side of a corner and separate them. Make sure your window is ready before you separate the film and the tint. Remember water, water, water....it's easy to move around on the window as long as you have plenty of water on it.

Cheap, but not high quality
It is what it is, not a horrible tint but very hazy which is a common trait of low quality tints. Adhesive holds it in place, no issues with that, however it is a little grabby, and with my slip solution it didn't want to slide around all that much before I tacked it down fully. It's not a bad tint, but it's honestly not high quality either with very noticeable hazing in full sunlight. As the particles in tint get smaller (for heat rejection) the overall clarity will improve. This in indirect light isn't bad, a lot of the haziness goes away and looks pretty decent but once light does hit it ... it hard to miss the this fact. For the price it's not exactly cheap when you figure the cost of a full roll of tint, it should be higher quality at this price. They are certainly charging a premium for this, but it works as a tint if that is all you need.

Amazing product!
Photo shows top portion of the window with the film on and the bottom portion of the window is without film (before I cut off access film). If you follow the instructions it is easy to install. The film did not stick to itself. I installed the film by myself. Make sure to clean ALL imperfections off your window with a blade or scrapper. There was over spray on one of our windows so it’s bubbly in that spot. But that is no fault to this supplier/product. The package came with the film AND a knife AND a small squeegee. I am ordering more for the remainder of my windows and my slider door!

Was skeptical at first - Pleasantly surprised
I was trying to do ANYTHING to cool my office space down from the afternoon Arizona sun. The one west facing window needed something, even blinds and curtains didn't help curtail the heat. I really wanted a solution that still let in natural light without breaking the bank. I was really skeptical about this stuff, but was pleasantly surprised at how effective it was at cooling down my office space. It also doesn't look bad at all, our HOA didn't even notice. It's definitely reflective of both light and heat, and does it well. I will note that this is definitely a two person job, and you're going to want to TAKE YOUR TIME and make sure to use LOTS of soapy water to install it.

Keep in mind it’s not private at night time with the lights on, but overall a great product !
Super easy to install. Take your time and do as instructed, and it’ll turn out excellent.
