Scratching post or floor
I have attached photos as a guide to how I’ve found it best to use. It’s great on the floor with the cover but the cover will come off and move as the cats attack it. It’s better on a post like what I have done here. You get a small screw only suitable for its little plush base however, to attach it to a post you will need a little bit longer of a screw and the post must be female so to speak for it to Mount. Any post with a screw pultruding out will not work as you’ll see in the photos. This has kept my cats entertained for literally hours and hour and hours. I haven’t needed to charge it yet. It has a replacement arm if it breaks but so far it’s held well and has flex to it. It doesn’t make much noise so toys with little bells go a long way and you can attach any of your own to it. Overall it’s been the best toy I’ve bought. Surpassing the automatic ball chasers, flappy birds and ball shooter. I would recommend and remember, these are customisable if you are savvy.

Keeps Cats Engaged and Entertained for Ages
This interactive cat toy is a great way to keep cats active and mentally stimulated, with plenty to keep their attention and encourage play. It’s easy to set up and use, and the different features keep things interesting so it doesn’t get ignored after a short time. My cat stayed engaged for longer than usual, making it a fun and worthwhile addition to their routine.

Loved by 4-month-old kitten
My kitten absolutely loves this toy - it's the only one that we've found that keeps him occupied until the battery runs down. It charges up in a couple of hours and lasts for around 45-60 mins before running down. It will enter standby mode after 5 minutes, but will start up again if you touch it (unless you have fully powered it down). It has 3 speed settings - Fast, Medium and Slow (my cat loves fast!) - and moves erratically in both directions, making it very appealing to my cat. The device itself is quite quite when in operation, though you can hear the motor quietly whirring when it turns - so I wouldn't recommend having it in a room where people are trying to sleep. It comes with 2 attachments (a feather one, and a fluffy snake thing), a USB charging cable (no plug supplied), a spare rod, and instructions to fix it to a cat tree if you want to. It can be used with or without the nylon cover sheet. You can easily attach different toys to the rod, as it has a split plastic loop on the end that toys can be tied to (so long as they're light enough for the rod to turn). As mentioned, my kitten loves this toy, and I consider it well worth the £20-odd I paid. It keeps him distracted when I need a break from playing with him. On the downside, though, the cover sheet isn't fixed in any way, which means my kitten constantly pulls it off. It's not the end of the world, as he's happy to play with it uncovered...but he finds it far more exciting when the rod/toy are covered up. In addition, we have wooden floors, and the toy's smooth base means it's always getting pushed around (or the whole base rotates instead of the rod). I got around this by taping the base to the floor (luckily, you can detach the part that needs charging). If you have hard floors, you may want to stick a rubber pad or something similar to the bottom so that it doesn't shift around too much.

My cat loves it
My cat can be a little bit of a scardy cat but the fact this feather toy is mostly hidden by the overlay is perfect and she loves it. She plays with it when it's on and when it isn't and also sits on it. For the money it's the best toy purchase I've made for her

Fantastic toy
All my cats are completely obsessed with this toy. It’s rechargeable, single charge lasts for several days of regular use. It works perfectly on the floor but also you can mount it on top of a cat scratching post.

Cats really enjoyed it but it stopped working after a while and won't charge any more

Both cats love it
Obviously this is a bit more expensive than a standard toy but our cats find it much more exciting and don’t seem to lose interest like they do with other toys. It was really easy to set up and charged very quickly. They don’t even need a cat toy attached to the arm, as long as the arm is moving underneath the fabric. The toy is almost silent, the only downside is that our bigger cat can turn it over if she gets too aggressive so we have to keep an eye on them while they play. But that’s fine, I would advise doing that anyway if your cat is playing with a mechanical toy!

Shuts down within half an hour
It's not at all clear from their product page that the toy will shut down and need to be manually re-started by a person if it's not touched by your cat for half an hour. Not as useful as you may think if you are looking for something to entertain your cat while you're at work.
