Great for Adding a Camera, solid for UniFi and Reolink Cams
Great tool product to add a POE camera to an existing Ethernet run. I had a single UniFi Camera hard wired to an existing POE switch. Because Reolink and Ubiquiti cameras only use a 100mb connection (FE) they essentially only use half of the Ethernet cable for power and connection. This device takes advantage of that. Cord does require dual input for dual output - so you’ll need 2 POE inputs. Those switch ports are combined on a single run and then split at the destination using the other adapter. Great product. No config required. UniFi interface appears as if there are 2 independent cable runs.

There might be some length limitation to the cable... I got an error on one of the connected cameras, and opened a support ticket with Reolink. The next day the camera was working... Not sure what the problem was but I suspect some cable length limitation...

Works for other Cameras (UNIFI)
Worked great for UNIFI Camera's to save on cable runs, specifically the non-Pro's that are 10/100 Mbps.

Does not work. I tried 2 and none worked. Just get a POE extender switch for cheaper.

Use two Reolink Cameras with a single ethernet cable.
I was able to add an additional camera to a location I never considered before with this splitter from Reolink. I am running a Duo 2 with spotlight on and an 810a . The way it works is the normal 1Gig ethernet cables have 4 pairs of wires. Two pair for signals and two pair for power. Since the cameras need less than 100Mbs and use less than 15 watts, they only need one pair for signal and one pair for power each. Reolink with this adapter combines two switch ports onto a single ethernet cable and splits them to two cameras on the other end. (The only thing I dont understand is why reolink did not use male ends on both sides.) Otherwise its a great low cost adapter to make it easy to add additional caeras without running new wires.
