Works great..easy expansion
These PoE cat6 camera splitters really worked well! We ran cable during our house build and even with ample pre-build planning wanted to add a camera once the house was done... on the longest cable run of course. We added these splitters to ~90' run with a second camera and experienced no signal quality nor data speed issues! We liked the benefits so much we bought a second kit to add even more cameras in other locations.

Works great
Worked exactly as advertised. If you hqve limited wire access the this will allow you to add two cameras to a single cat 5 cable.

works, but...
There might be some length limitation to the cable... I got an error on one of the connected cameras, and opened a support ticket with Reolink. The next day the camera was working... Not sure what the problem was but I suspect some cable length limitation...

Saved me from making a long cable run for an additional camera next to another
This splitter is a huge work saver and I highly recommend it. I used it with a RLN8-410 NVR without issue. It does use 2 ports on your NVR as each camera requires one. Each camera will also require and ethernet cable that attaches to the splitter. In my case I use an electrical box with a white cover mounted next to the cameras to hide and protect the cabling. With the splitter and extra cabling I had to order a larger box to contain them. Would be great if one side of the splitter had an RJ45 connected to save one cable.

Money and time wasted
After installing 2 cameras that supposedly work with a cable, the Reolink client and the installer of their cameras determined that the splitter was not working.
