G8 Bi-pin LED Bulb 120V Daylight 6000K 50W Equivalent T4 G8 Base Halogen LED Replacement Bulb for Under-Cabinet Accent Puck Light Desk Lamp Lighting (Pack-5)

These were just what we needed for the desk lamp. I have more than one desk lamp that uses these bulbs. They were easy to install and quite bright. I use one of these in a lamp used for close up work. It needs to be bright to see the details and this delivers. If they hold up well I may never need to order more. We have been moving to LED technology as much as possible just because they seem to be better on power consumption.

Should have known when I opened the package. There were no specs written on the bulbs or the boxes they came in. I only needed one bulb but wound up going through all 5. With the first 3, the pins slid back into the bulb when I attempted to insert them into the socket. The 4th bulb inserted into the socket okay but shorted out when I applied power to it. Now the 5th bulb is so dim it can't even be seen in daylight. The reason is that when the 4th bulb shorted out, it blew a fuse or something in my microwave and the voltage going to the socket is low. Haven't had time to take the microwave apart to find the problem. STAY AWAY FROM THESE BULBS! THEY ARE JUNK!!!

I SHOULD OF GOT THESE LED BULBS SOONER / IF YOU USE A ( G8 HALOGEN BULB ) SWITCH NOW ! THIS LED REPLACEMENT IS AWESOME & CHEEPER TO OPERATE ! GREAT PRODUCT / AWESOME LIGHT BULB ! LESS HEAT IN LIGHT FIXTURE BY FAR !

Bought these for our range. It installed but didn't work well. I checked it and found that the prongs pushed in and shorted the board out. I haven't put another back in yet but pay attention when installing. There is potential with these but haven't tried since the first one.

Received and installed yesterday in my OTR microwave. While it has the pleasing white light as advertised, I was a little disappointed in the light output. There is no way one of these led units is equivalent to a 50 watt bulb. Since they come 5 to a pack, I might get creative and try to piggyback in a 2nd unit to double the light output.

Replaced two 50W Halogen bulbs in my over the counter GE Microwave Night Light. Although NOT DIMMABLE, these LED do the job pretty well, I just don't use the dimmed feature on my switch and just jump from full brightness to totally OFF. WAY BRIGHTER, COOLER and LESS CONSUMING

Don't know why they started blinking.

Just make sure your holes are spaced correctly for these lamps, G8 means 8mm center to center!Not super bright, but just what we needed for a task-light in a dark corner of the counter.
