It's a good and interesting book
It's a good and interesting book, however written in 2000. A lot has changed in Jamaica since then and some of the statements are no longer accurate. Now it's 2015. An updated version would be helpful.

Very good look at the history and overview of the makings of the most beautiful country we've ever seen. It really helps to understand the personalities and the heritage that brought them to the point they are at now.

Book was too old for my purpose
This book was two old for my grandson who was asking about his heritage. Need something with a more varied informational book for a 9 yr. old boy.
