I was very sceptical about a mobile holder in my newly purchased Ford EcoSport. After a long long search through different sites and products, came across this beauty. As such this has 2 varieties i.e. MX-1 and this one MMH-2. I spoke to the customer care who advised me to go with this as it has more sturdy body and stronger magnets than MX-1. Gone with MMH-2. Manmeet, one of the customer care executives, helped me with all details I need before purchase. He even helped me finding the best place to install it in my car; they have it ready for all car models I understand. After installing as per their directives (extremely important for long terms usage and fault free installation); I used it for a long journey of about 250 km round trip. It never disappointed me, not for a single moment; be it on breakers, rumble strips or extremely bad off-roading. and yet getting my mobile out of the holder is so easy. overall, extremely satisfied with the product. I hope it runs for long and doesn't let me have a different opinion in long term usage. Keep up making quality products in affordable price range...kudos to Blackstar team. Edit 1 (February 2022): After using this gem for one full year and numerous long & short trips on both good & bad roads; I still feel it’s the best decision I made to choose this over others. Only one word of caution, DO NOT use the circular metal plate as your mobile will keep on rotating (will not come out though) while on the go and it creates a hindrance while seeing maps, etc. Always go with the rectangular metal plate and it’s rock solid. Edit 2 (August 2023): Another year & half passed and it works still as rock solid as it was when I first installed it in January 2021. I'm so impressed with its functionality, I purchased another one of the same model and installed it in front of passenger seat for my wife to hang her mobile during long road trips rather than holding it in hand and keep leaning which put pressure on the neck & shoulder. When no mobile is there, it enhances the beauty of interior of my car. Many of my friends and relatives admired this beauty inside my car; it really adds to it. Edit 3 (April 2025): 4 years & 3 months passed and both of my holders are still working as rock solid as they were on Day 1. Now for my other car (again Ford Ecosport but an older pre-facelift model) I bought a Titan Mag model. Before this purchase, I discussed thoroughly with one of the customer care executives (Sachin) about which mode to choose to best fit for my car, pros & cons of other models, durability, best places to install inside my car, etc. Only after all my questions answered by him satisfactorily, I have gone ahead with the purchase. They are extremely professional & live up to their promise. Word of caution to all fellow purchasers: Please DO follow their instructions for installation very very carefully. Watch the installation video (it’s lengthy, almost like a mini movie) very diligently before complaining about non-stickiness of the mount, not holding on your car, etc. Believe me, you can’t go wrong if you follow them blindly. It’s years of research put together which they are supporting you with for your benefit only. And let those experts guide you on the perfect place to install inside your car as well; they have it ready for almost all older & newer models of the cars plying on road. I noticed some people installing mobile holder on steering wheel horn pad or other vulnerable places. Please refrain from installation on such places in your car. In case of deployment of air bag (hope that situation never occurs); the holder & your mobile mounted on it will act as bullet and instead of saving your life by air bag, it will enhance the danger, can be fatal even.

Bought 2 Qty of Blackstar Spiro Mag holders for my car setup and they suited perfectly for my personal 9.7" tablet setup. The magnetic strength is strong and stable even on uneven roads. Doesn’t block the AC vents much. I installed both holders as shown in the reference images, and the setup feels premium and balanced. Rotation movement is smooth, making it easy to adjust viewing angles while driving.

Whatever you do..it can't hold a google pixel kind of phone in a bump.. it broke the tempered glass once.. its not about the mount sticker.. the sticker is actually firm but the magnetic strength is unfit and defeats the purpose. it also adds the phone screen breakage risk as it just falls so frequently on smaller bumps also. At times, it keeps falling down without bumps may be it just loses grip slowly. Alternatively I use a portronics AC vent holder .. though busy it holds my heave iPhone max also very well. But its elegant and invisible but sadly doesn't serve the purpose.

Quite nice , sticks perfectly and is able to hold the phone even while driving through rough areas. Magnet is strong enough . Good price point and value for money.

Unfortunately, after I left my car at the service center for a few days, I noticed the magnetic base had become loose and was rotating freely. I was honestly heartbroken because I genuinely loved this product. I messaged the company again, explained the issue, and they immediately responded. They asked me to send a short video showing the problem, and after reviewing it, they arranged a pickup at their own expense. I didn’t have to pay a single rupee for courier or repairs. After about 10 days, I received the product back — and to my surprise, it was even better than before. recently purchased the Blackstar car phone holder, and I’m blown away by how amazing it is! Installation was a bit technical, but it was worth the effort. The tutorial video they have is amazing covering all aspects The holder feels incredibly sturdy, even on bumpy roads, and it securely grips my iPhone 12 Pro (with a case!) as well my Fold 4 (many have failed) without any wobbling. It’s also compact enough not to block my view of the road, which is a huge plus for safety. The build quality is top-notch, and it looks sleek in my car. I’ve tried cheaper mounts before, but they always failed to hold up. This one is worth every penny for its reliability and ease of use. The best mobile holder I ever bought! Major points: 1. Helps avoid direct sunlight as I fixed it near the media controls area. 2. Phone remains stable even even in bumps. 3. Helps me maintain focus on driving because fixing or removing the phone on the holder is as easy as lifting from the table.

Everything is good except that the glue is not so heat resistant. Came off while car was in the parking lot.
