I’ve been very impressed with the Launch X-431 PROS so far. The scanner offers deep system access, bi-directional controls, and a wide range of service functions that make diagnosing and repairing vehicles much easier. The interface is straightforward, scans are fast, and it provides detailed fault information beyond basic OBD scanners. It has already helped me identify and resolve multiple vehicle issues efficiently. Overall, this is a solid, professional-grade diagnostic tool and a great value for anyone serious about vehicle diagnostics or DIY repairs.

Product is great and powerful. The system runs fast. The device itself is compact and lightweight but well-built. I was able to diagnose my vehicle and clear DTCs. It's compatible with several other accessories, such as bluetooth battery testers, videoscope, and etc. In addition, this product is capable of doing a lot which I haven't had a chance to test yet. I believe this is a must have for its price and I highly recommend this product.

Great scanner with many walk throughs on features. Upon clicking special functions you are prompted with necessary parameters to carry out the tasks. Very user friendly and has access for many higher end vehicles as well!

This is my 3rd Launch scanner i have purchased over the past years. Has an easy to understand interface. Works with anything I plug into it and has frequent updates. I purchased because my older launch products didn't have enough storage and were showing their age, but they still worked. Don't think twice its my go to obd2 for a diy mechanic. I love that i can give friends and family a printout of the codes that it read. Keep up the great work Launch! Update After a while. this company isnt what it used to be. The tool for the price you are not getting your value. There are better readers out there. Autel would be a good start!

It's very fast and easy to setup.With step by step instructions. The tablet it self it's very comfortable in size and well protected by a rugged case and built for durability as well as the carrying case.It downloaded all updates with out a problem. It only took a few min to download 50+ updates I did buy the Bluetooth battery tester with it. I'll update in a few weeks after use. But so far The first impression it's 5⭐'s. Let’s start with the cons. The first issue is that automatic VIN reading didn’t work on any of the cars I tested. If I used Intelligent Diagnostic, I had to manually enter the VIN. It would only pull the VIN when I ran a Local Diagnostic, and even then, I still had to input the make and other details. To say I’m a little disappointed is an understatement. I have a $100 scanner that automatically pulls this information, so for an $800 scanner, you’d expect it to have that capability. Now, let’s get into the pros. The report it generates looks very professional, making it easy to email or text to clients. It provides a ton of information, runs quickly, and has amazing battery life. I’m comparing this to the Oto D1 Lite, but that’s not really an apples-to-apples comparison—this scanner blows it out of the water in terms of performance, features, and battery life. The bi-directional controls worked well with no issues; everything seemed spot on. It did lack features on older cars, but I’d probably need OEM tools to access those anyway. Who is this for? I’d say it’s perfect for an advanced DIYer or a mobile mechanic. For the most part, this scanner has you covered and outperforms Autel, Snap-On, and the new Icon line. With two years of updates included, it’s kind of a no-brainer. This tool can take your diagnostic skills to the next level and handle a lot of the heavy lifting, but it won’t do everything—you still need the knowledge to read charts, interpret data, and diagnose issues properly. Some bi-directional controls include: • Brake service mode • Oil light reset • Horn activation • A/C clutch activation • …and more. Final Rating: 4 out of 5 If you’re on the fence, I’d say go for it—it’s a worthwhile investment. Update I just got a launch x431 apex 3 and the intelligent diagnostic worked with almost every car for 700 plus you pay for the v5 you would expect it to auto read vin.

I'm not a professional mechanic but have worked on cars and motors for over 50 years. I maintain and do most of my own repairs. I have had basic scanners for years. This tool is has so far been very impressive at helping me to diagnose one of our vehicles. It does live data and resets that speeds up repairs.

I am satisfied with this scanner. The quality is good and it works well. I have been able to diagnose a faulty steering angle sensor and calibrate the replacement part. Also was able to program key fobs on a GM product, along with a push button start key / remote for a Ford. Seems to be a great value compared to competitors products.I should also mention that this was a "used" purchase though Amazon. I did not have registration issues as noted on other reviews.

Aún no lo pruebo, pero el hecho de que no incluya los adaptadores, disminuyen para mi gusto el costo beneficio, pues fue una de las razones por lo que decidí adquirirlo
