Grit in the serum?

I don't know if it was just a defective shipment or what but this brand of eye patches has grit in the serum they have no scent and they're super slippery. Not relaxing or soothing whatsoever

Didn’t leave them long enough to see if they make any difference because something in them bothered my skin , as soon as I put them my skin just started to be itchy and red
