Jiminy's Crunchy Dog Treats, Peanut Butter & Blueberry with Protein, 5oz

I have been buying these for my Yorkie. She loves them, a treat once a day, they come in both crunchy and chewy, I prefer the crunchy for small dogs. They don’t have a long list of ingredients, just peanut butter, blueberries and cricket protein. Made in the USA. NEVER buy Milk Bone brand for your dogs, ingredients come from China. Can cause tumors in your dog.

I have two huskies who can sometimes be picky about their food and treats. I bought these because my dogs like to eat fresh crickets. Yes, you read that correctly. They like to scratch/dig at the ground to reveal those jumpy protein packed nature nuggets, play with them a bit and then eat them. So, when I saw these treats, I thought "perfect! legless, jump-less, escape-proof nature nuggets! the dogs are going to love these!" Reader, my dogs did not love these treats. I have no idea why, other than they must not eat crickets because they enjoy them. No. I'm guessing that the only reason they eat the crickets outside is because of the thrill of the hunt. And maybe they like the feeling of cricket legs kicking in the back of their throat? I don't know. I think my dogs might be sociopaths. Anyway, I still rate these treats 5-stars because, when mixed into a bowl of rice, meat (or fish) and a little coconut oil or bacon grease, my dogs devour these things. And who doesn't love a surprise cricket biscuit in your ground hamburger and rice every now and then? Amirite? Would buy again to keep on-hand as a "treat" topping for my dogs food; but because my dogs are picky a-holes who prefer to eat their crickets alive, I probably won't make these treats part of our regular treat rotation. Note: I do not support my dogs and their live food habit; they get kibble every day and rice/meat or rice/fish bowls twice a week. They find their own crickets.

My dog was initially hesitant to try these. However, after miming how "yummy" these were he decided to give it a go and he loves them! I wish I had known about these a few months ago as they would have been a fantastic novel protein for my bubble-dog. She was on such a restricted diet (her medical team was involved) that she didn't get any treats. It's incredibly hard to find dog treats that don't contain chicken in some form. These are a bit too expensive to use as regular training treats (even when breaking into small pieces) but as a Treat they're a great option.

We bought this brand ‘coz we were looking for a non-meat protein based treat and the ingredients looked ‘normal’ without too many additives! Pup LOVES IT and comes running every time we open the cupboard to get the treat out. We tried the peanut butter blueberry flavor and he just devours it! The treats are medium-soft and easy for puppies to eat. Docked a star as it gets super expensive to Continue buying it. The bag is small and treats only last for a short time unfortunately. May buy it once in a while though

I was excited to find this product for my dogs, so we ripped open the package and sampled a few pieces, the spoiled dogs did eat it, but are not crazy about it. I believe in this product and the ingredients, and I will buy it again, but will try the other flavors. It is a fantastic snack, and I will force it on my dogs for health reasons and to support the Cricket Farming Starters in the USA. My dogs are spoiled! maybe if it would smell like Liver or rotten Skunk they would be more excited to eat it.

My dog prefers these to other crunchy treats. They are the perfect size and do not upset his stomach like other brands.

One of my dogs is allergic to literally all proteins and is on a hydrolized diet, so I was excited to find a new product to see if she could handle. She LOVES these treats and she hasn’t had any reactions to them! My boy isn’t quite sure if he likes them yet but will eat them sometimes. Decent price for what you get and a friend tried them I said they taste like sesame crackers!!
