Leather Bags Vintage Leather Messenger Soft Leather Briefcase Satchel Laptop (12 x 17 (43.2 cm))

Received this bag today and I like it. I purchased the smaller bag and the dimensions are accurate. It’s a good bag for daily use, but not big enough for a computer. Would fit a tablet nicely in the padded pocket. All the straps are fully functional and for the price the quality is good. I purchased a similar bag from Komal Passion Leather and it arrived wet and moldy with sloppy glue and frayed edges. This bag is in great condition, no mold and no raw edges. Be aware that is is goat leather backed with canvas so it’s thinner and not what you usually expect from leather. The canvas backing gives the bag decent structure. Yes, there is a slight odor but that’s to be expected and should dissipate over time. This bag is meant to take on a vintage patina. I’m happy with this purchase, for the price it’s a good value and a unique looking bag.

I absolutely love this bag. You ask why the poor review. I’ve had the bag for a few weeks. The flaps never stay in place with the snaps so the bag continues to open when I’m walking. Also the smell caused by the tanning process is horrible. It fills the space of where wherever you have the bag. I hope the smell goes away soon also the bag scratches very easily.

Bag was an excellent size for the tablet I bought it for. The color was good and the leather wasn't real soft, but it was supple enough to be easily used. The problem....oh, the smell!! I understand what leather smells like and this was not that smell, it was a very strong chemical smell. Leaving the bag out in my shop for a few days did alleviate most of the smell. Overall I really like the bag, but if you are interested in purchasing it be aware that it may need a few days of airing out before use.

This bag is STUNNING! The stitching, hardware and leather are beautiful and high quality and overall the whole thing looks very sturdy. It did have a odd smell when I first opened the bag, but upon further notice I found a note from the seller explain that the smell comes from the tanning process using vegetable oil. And, after thinking more about it, that's exactly what it smells like. In addition, the seller included a very well written and warm thank you note, along with care instructions explaining the tanning process and what to expect as the bag ages. I'm genuinely pleased with my purchase. The bag arrived safely and quickly and it's just down right pretty!

This was a purse not a brief case. There is no way you can fit a laptop in this like it says. You might be able to fit a I pad in it.

In terms of pure functionality and looks, this bag is great. I can fit a couple laptops my notebook and almost everything else I need for work. Can we talk about the smell? My dogs really enjoy chewing bully sticks (dried bull penises) and while the smell isn't as bad as the most pungent sticks I've purchased it's close with a side of play d'oh. I tried to wash it with vinegar, change the smell with essential oils and condition it with leather container but the smell has only faded. This bag would be a 5/5 across the board if it weren't for the smell.

This bag travelled the world before arriving. Shipped from India, so now known as the Sacred Satchel of cow. Disappointed that it didn't come with stickers from everywhere it's been. But great bag.

It was fairly cheap price. It has very strong smell. I couldn’t lave it in my room even I had all my windows opened. Some areas has some sticky substance. I think it was glue. I returned it right next day. Not recommended.

Perfect, exatcly as expected! Fits my large gaming laptop no problem. Bought a small version from the same company which was great by could not fit my laptop. This one is equally great, just bigger.
