Renovating our utility room and want to maximise the small space that we have and make some cupboards as off the shelf items will leave a lot of unused space.I am not a professional so this kind of tool should make it easier to create the holes in the exact place for the hinges. I did experiment on trying this myself without a jig but I could not get the holes in the exact places.I found this tool did make it easier and you get everything needed to set it up and create all the required holes, including the screw holes on the side. I did find the supplied drill but a little slow to cut into the wood so I did have to use my own one.I am sure a professional would breeze through installing a hinge but this saved me a lot of time and potentially a lot of wasted material.From this point I found this jig very valuable for my renovation project.

I needed this to make a repair to a kitchen door that has seen better days frankly. However this allowed me to move the hinge from the damaged current hole and at least give the door a new lease of life. I thinka fter 5 years kitchen makers seem to discontinue their doors/designs so a tool like this can be a godsend.It cut the hole OK, clamped on tightly enough. I think the drill bit was not quite a sharp as it could have been but it did the job, so can't complain.Overall a solid 4/5 marked down 1 star for the price.

This is sturdy and works well for the jobs that it advertises.

This is better than what you usually find in diy stores which are usually plastic and flimsy, this is clearly made for the job as it clamps perfectly to the piece of wood/door, has quite a lot of give so you sgould be able to use to most door however it is mainly for cabinet doors.

The IAZZCO 35mm Cabinet Hinge Jig,came the next day.It was easy to use and set up it came with a drill cutter and you can also set the depth after clamping it on the wood.Great little Item.
