Strong Puller Kit That Gets the Job Done
I used the Orion Motor Tech Harmonic Balancer Puller Kit on a couple of stubborn balancers, and it worked exactly the way it should. The puller arms grabbed solidly, the center bolt stayed straight under pressure, and it pulled the balancer off smoothly without chewing up the crank snout or the pulley. Definitely worth it
Awesome tool and definitely worth the price. Worked perfectly with little effort, used an Adjustable wrench and pulled it off with ease.

OMT is a great brand for special tools. Highly recommend this puller kit. We modified the claws by grinding a bit on the back side to allow for tight fits when the balancer sits close to the timing cover

A go-to tool
I added this sturdy tool to my shop tools and it has become a go to. It works on a variety of puppies and seems to be durable. I have not yet found a vehicle it wonโt work on, though I am sure there are some.

Strong robust 3 jaw puller. This puller is a fit for purpose tool, it worked exactly as designed and described. Removed my Harmonic Balancer in less than 5 minutes. Would highly recommend this as a first choice tool

It works for the 2013 Ford Ecoboost 3.5L
Yes this tool does indeed remove the balancer on a Ford 3.5L ecoboost. I ordered 2 tools and this one was the best purchase. Use as per the different lengths of rod. Start off with one length that fits, tighten until you have good tension and presto. Then keep winding until the pulley comes off. Assuming the A/C belt was removed priorโฆ
