Works great for my 5 gallon freshwater tank and fits perfectly! It's very bright, my fish love it... it makes the tank pop... fish look a lot more vibrant and seem a lot more energetic and happier. Great value...solid construction...so easy to use! I love the dimmer adjustment for both the blue and full spectrum lights. For a 5 gallon tank, this is a great light as well as a great value!!!

This little light is a great deal for the price, and it works wonderfully well. All settings stay when the power is turned off, so it can be used with a conventional timer. Has light color choices, is dimmable by color, and is plenty bright for plants. I recommend this light, and will buy another as the need arises.

Outstanding upgrade on my 5 gallon Betta tank. Plants are thriving under this lamp. The blue light is great at night where it is turned down to very low blue and turned on in the morning to begin a day. I recommend this aquarium light for anyone who needs a smaller effective aquarium light. It is easy to use and set up. It looks great and not overwhelming.

Our fish tank’s light cord that came with the tank got severed somehow and I wasn’t sure how we were going to find a light to replace it. Luckily we found this one and it works great. It has perfect brightness and we love that it has different light color options for day and night. The purple at night doubles as a night light. It was so easy to put on the tank and the original lid just sits right on top of it. We haven’t used the timer function so not sure how that works. It seems to be water resistant as it’s had no issues even though there’s plenty of condensation on there.

It's a good Ligth, it illuminates well. Something that other models don't have is a day/night timer, but for the price and the lighting it gives to the plants, it's fine.

Bought this for my 5 gallon, it is a very good light and is quite bright. The ability to change from blue to white light is very nice. It overall seems sturdy and I will be buying another for my 10 gallon.
