Review: Great value very happy - I am very happy with the train set. I have always wanted a Christmas train for the tree but the ones I looked at were plastic and cheaply made but inexpensive around 50.to 60 dollars and ran on batteries. This is well made the engine is metal and the cars are made of heavy plastic but well built, the train runs on a transformer so no batteries except for the remote, the track has a base so no need for making a base for the track we run ours on carpet it is very sturdy. I would recommend this train, it is a little more expensive but well worth it, instead of a train that will last a few years this will be passed down for generations, I think it was well worth the money

I am very happy with the train set. I have always wanted a Christmas train for the tree but the ones I looked at were plastic and cheaply made but inexpensive around 50.to 60 dollars and ran on batteries. This is well made the engine is metal and the cars are made of heavy plastic but well built, the train runs on a transformer so no batteries except for the remote, the track has a base so no need for making a base for the track we run ours on carpet it is very sturdy. I would recommend this train, it is a little more expensive but well worth it, instead of a train that will last a few years this will be passed down for generations, I think it was well worth the money
