I would advice practicing on easy pieces first. The saw tends to slip , so give plenty of room for slippage. It is quite light and the battery lasts about an hour with average use. Frequently oil the saw and when sawing a big piece of wood give the saw time to unblock the wood chippings . Definitely worth the money.
