I’ve used similar models on motorway sites, ducting setups, and drainage digs, and they hold up—no cracks, no slippage, and the ratchet system’s a dream for quick adjustments. The chin strap’s a win for windy days, and the yellow shell stays visible even in low light. For around £8.95–£25.23 depending on seller, it’s a solid grab for any groundworker’s PPE kit.

Very good hard hat for a very reasonable price. It's comfortable and the cog at the rear for tightening allows for a good fit. It would be improved if the chin strap could be loosened more or a catch to allow it to open fully.

Well-made hard hat. Never want to test its capability though, but it gives the feeling that it could save me from serious injury if the situation ever arises.
