I got this for my sickly little cat Shelby, she's not got anything wrong that the vets can diagnose but has always had terrible digestive problems. She has bouts of vomiting that also include bloody diarrhoea (sorry TMI but its relevant) for several days about once a month. I started her on this right away and it's been nearly a week. It stopped it in the middle of a bad bout and theres been solid poops every day. Shes also much more full of life and bouncing around with her sister like a kitten. I honestly wish I'd tried this ages ago. Dont worry about the cost, it seems pricey but you only need a scoop a day and its tiny, so it will last a long time. Plus, much cheaper than buying vets probiotic products and constant visits. I recommend anybody having similar issues with their kitty try this too, at the very least, your nose will thank you.

I originally bought this item in September 2020 and wanted to give it at least 4/5 months before reviewing. My cat has had problems with his number 2's for years. No matter what I tried, he would always have super runny ones (sorry TMI!) with blood and in corners of rooms. I tried all sorts of foods, all protein, sensitive stomach, pure boiled chicken - you name it. Even in periods where his stomach would settle a little, any small crumb of anything different would set him off again. In desperation I tried this. I was skeptical and the price did seem quite high. I had tried (at the recommendation of the Vet) - Pro-Kolin+, but it didn't help. My poor cat was going on the floor at least once a day in all sorts of locations, I could tell he was suffering. When it arrived, I showed it to the cat and he seemed interested. He tried to eat it off the spoon! This was positive, as he hated the Pro-Kolin stuff with a passion. So, I put half the measure, twice a day under his wet food. After about a month, he was going on the floors less and less. Another month and almost no accidents - at most, once a week! By the end of month 3 on the powder, I even saw some solid number 2's in the litter box! I can't say this was the powder alone, obviously. There are many contributing factors to a cat's wellbeing and digestive health. But, I can't say anything significant changed within those 3-4 months from the previous 6 months. Same residence, same circumstances of life, same food, same feeding times. His stomach is even strong enough to handle the occasional lick of yoghurt with no ill effects! I do think this powder does help him, so I will continue to use it. Wouldn't say it's a complete cure (as small accidents still happen once a month or so), but it certainly doesn't hurt! I would recommend others to try it and give it a fair month or two before making a judgement.

She still vomits with it unlike with vets best hairball paste and Pro Kolin which is more expensive. I found the scoop when I got half way or 2 thirds through the pot up til then I had to use the scoop from the other cats plaque off powder. Why hide it???;)

My 20 year old cat has been having digestive issues for a while and very lose poops and I had tried various supplements to see if they would help but to no avail. I had seen one in the USA that I liked the look of but couldn't afford the price and the import duties (I am in the UK) so I kept searching and came upon maxxidigest+ for cats on amazon.co.uk, it had lots of ingredients in it similar to the one I had seen that was very costly but for half the price and whilst maxxidigest+ is still quite costly for me it is a big container and lasts very well, along with having an excellent combination of enzymes, probiotics and prebiotics that do really help my cat. His digestion has definitely been a lot better and his bowel movements are considerably firmer, if I back off giving it to him he starts to slide backwards again, so this is definitely one I shall keep on adding to his food, which I should also mention he is happy to eat with it mixed in, he is super fussy in that regard and won't always eat things I have mixed into his food. I also like that maxxidigest+ for cats has immune boosters in it, all very good and great to be able to help keep my cat healthy!!

This has help my 5 year cat with Cardiomyopathy He's still going he has blood in his poo this has help stop it with changing his food too

Have been giving my cats human probiotic powder with good results in terms of settled tummies and bowel movements so thought maybe cats have special needs humans don't and bought this. Huge mistake. 17 year old female who had been well enough to chase my chinchilla kitten around collapsed and nearly died from a virulent bowel infection needing antibiotics and 24/7 nursing. Still not recovered. The kitten stopped eating completely until after she too had to have antibiotics. To say this was not the desired effect is putting it mildly. I don't know if I had a contaminated batch but avoid this like poisen. It wasn't cheap and sick cats cost a fortune to treat

Mi gata de 11 años, lleva 6 años con IBD diagnósticada... Y para su tratamiento (que es paliativo, ya que no tiene cura, y solo se busca la estabilidad y calidad de vida del animal)... Además del tratamiento con corticoides en algunos casos, una buena dieta baja en grasas, es importante la suplementación... Y debido al desbalance de la flora intestinal, los probióticos y prebióticos ayuda a mejorar esta situación... Y este producto me gusta y tiene buena relación calidad/precio...

Kräsen katt tycker den är okej att äta. Den absolut bästa produkten för katt som har problem med magen och tarm. Innan hård avföring och ont i magen. Efter 2 veckor med halv dos dagligen har katten äntligen normal o mjuk avföring och är pigg o glad då den inte har ont i magen o tarm. Enda nackdelen är att den är dyr.

Mijn kater heeft minder klachten na een paar weken gebruik, en is zichtbaar opgeknapt.

It's bad! Both my cats got sick with diarrhea.
