Did exactly what I wanted!
To be honest I wasn't expecting much considering the negative reviews, but after 2-3 weeks of daily use my hair has certainly darkened and some of my greys have been tinted a light brown colour. You can still see grey hairs but that's perfectly fine for me. For context, my hair was still more dark than grey but it was becoming very noticeable near the temple area and I just didn't like it. Alpecin Tuning, which is more of a temporary stain, was no longer effective as too many greys were coming though so I thought I'd give this a try. My technique is to apply it at the sink to towel dry hair so I can properly see what I'm doing and so I'm not diluting it with too much water. You can even apply it to stubborn areas when your hair is completely dry and apply water after about 5 mins to lather up the rest of your hair. So if you're in a similar position to me I think you will see results as long as you stick with it every day and use the right technique. But if your hair is mostly grey then I'd use a stronger shampoo or dye. And be mindful of skin reaction spots if you leave the product to sit for too long and it's gotten on your ear or the back of your neck. Good luck!

I wouldn't waste my money on it again
Rubbish! This product says it will cover your grey hairs in 28 washes. So if you wash your hair every other day, then you will cover all grey hairs in 2 months. But you hair would've ve grown about 2cms in that time, so it will never cover all your grey hairs. Unless you wash your hair 28 times in one day, but that you would have to buy 2 bottles for £30 as one bottle lasts for less than 20 washes. Waste of money for me.

This is a much better way to gradually darken my hair rather than using mens hair dye all the time
This is so much better for me than using hair dyes for men, as years of hair dye use cant have helped the condition of my hair. So this is such a better way for myself, using this Alpecin Grey Attack Caffeine and Colour Shampoo, which really has already started to show benefits from both the caffeine content and of course the gradual build of strength and slow gradual darkening. Thank you again to the makers, great product.

Works a little bit
Yeah it kinda works to some degree. My hair is less grey but not so sure about the caffeine part

Decent Results, but Not a Miracle Worker
I’ve been using shampoo for a few weeks, and it’s okay—not amazing, but not terrible either. Pros: • It does reduce the appearance of grey hairs with consistent use. • Leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable. • The scent is pleasant and not too overpowering. Cons: • The results aren’t immediate—it took several washes to notice a difference. • Doesn’t completely cover grey; it blends them rather than hiding them entirely. • A bit pricey for what it delivers. Overall, it’s a decent product if you’re looking for subtle results, but don’t expect a total transformation. A good choice if you want something easy to use, but there are better options out there.

Great product. Gradual subtle darkening.
Bought this and now won’t use any other shampoo. It leaves hair clean and soft without need for conditioner. It’s ’grey attack’ is subtle slowly dulling grey fully depending on how often you wash and how long you keep it on before rinsing. Personally I don’t want instant black hair. If you do then get some dye.

Alpecin Dark Attack - Very Good!!
Great product and great transaction.

Expensive dud.
"Grey attack" shampoo which is supposed to "thicken" my hair through judicial use of science magic. Unfortunately the only good thing about this very expensive foam maker is that it acts as a shampoo. The claimed benefits do not exist - my hair are as thin as they were before and the beard becomes a whiter shade of pale with every wash. It lacks oomph as a man's product.
