It worked but had problems initially.
When I received the windshield washer pump the inlet strainer was missing. Fortunately, I was able to remove the strainer from the old pump and install it into the new pump. After installing the pump on my vehicle it ran but would not pump water. I removed the pump and bench tested using a bucket of water. Still it would not pump water. Out of desperation I started tapping on the pump housing and it started pumping a little bit. After several minutes of tapping on the housing the water flow started to improve and eventually appeared to discharge acceptable amount of water. After reinstalling the pump on my vehicle it appears to pump windshield washer fluid normally.
