He’s passed on, but before he left this world, I was using this to help maintain his weight and it did a good job. A bit expensive but you do what you do for a family member.

My 17yo is getting pretty frail. She still eats fine but she needs a boost. She loves it. It doesn't upset her stomach in fact it has helped a lot. My 12yo has been eating it too. It's a very good price if you need 1-2 a day. This is a food topper/treat, not a complete meal.

My kitty has a problem with her esophagus that makes her regurgitate immediately if she eats too much too fast. She’s the cutest little tortie, and it’s difficult to keep weight on her. We feed small amounts frequently (like a spoonful every 20 minutes for a few hours in the morning and then again at night). We supplement with this because it is higher calorie and formulated for seniors. She can eat this amount and keep it down. She seems to find it satiating as well. Her coat and eyes look great.

These are really great to have on hand when my senior cat is being picky and don’t want to eat his regular food. He’s very lightweight so he can lose weight quickly with his age and health issues. The only thing is the formula is so thick like peanut butter that sometimes he has a hard time licking it off. Wish it was more like their kitten formula. That’s a bit more loose!

Decided to try this on my oldest cat because she's down to 8 lbs. She doesn't have any known health issues, however she will be 14 in a couple months and I added two young male cats to my household 3 years ago and she hasn't been the same. She used to be out and about more but the youngest male has become the resident bully and when he sees her, he immediately chases her back under my bed. She also has dental issues. So I think the combined stress, and dental issues have contributed to her weight loss. She's always been a small cat but at her highest weight she was 9.6 lbs. I bought these to see if I can get her to gain a little weight back and stimulate her appetite so that she starts eating her regular food. I'm also going to be transitioning from the adult catfood she normally eats/avoids to a senior food for her and my 7 year old. I decided to take her to a quiet room to try the product, otherwise the boys would bombard me for the treat. She usually freaks out when I put her in any room with me and close the door, but as soon as she smelled this food, she was really curious! She sniffed, tasted, looked around the room for her escape route, walked away...came back, sniffed, licked again... and so on. She was unsettled being in this spare room, but she couldn't avoid this food. She loved it! She's really picky but I put it in a little bowl for her so she knew it was cat food and she ate it up after about 4-5 passes by the bowl. Now, others have said they felt ripped off by the tiny portion, so I want to highlight this point. This is NOT a cat FOOD. this is a high calorie food SUPPLEMENT. Think of it as a vitamin... it's IN ADDITION to what your cat normally eats. It's not intended to be a complete meal, so of course the portion will be small. Could you imagine a meal sized high calorie supplement? She'd gain 50 pounds in the first month. Or maybe that's just me. So yes, it is a tiny portion because it is not a meal. think outside the box! However, it is a great value at 20 packs for $10, especially if it can potentially save your cat's life by helping them regain some muscle and energy which then improves their mood and makes them more likely to eat their regular food. And if you're in a multiple-cat household as I am, it's also a great way to have some quality time with your oldest friend. Hopefully I can update this review in the future and tell you that she's put back on a pound. But as for the taste, it was a massive hit!

This meal topper is a literal lifesaver with my 17-year-old boy. It gets him to start eating enthusiastically when usually he just kind of picks. I need to start buying them two packs at a time to keep him happy.

I have been giving these to my senior girl every day for about a month and 2 weeks. She LOVES them! I feed them to her straight from the packet as a treat and she looks great now! She is 15 and was getting a little thin and her coat was a bit dull and not very full. Her recent blood work was perfect and vet visit was fine so I think it’s just her age losing muscle mass etc.. she has put on an appropriate amount of weight now and her coat is so thick and soft. We are very happy with these treats.

My cat loved these treats, he would often eat them right out of the packet before I could squeeze it into his dish. He seemed to like the taste and I enjoyed knowing that he was getting more nutrition during his older years.
