The originals were leaking oil badly and the springs were much too heavy. After doing some research, I determined from reviews that had pictures, that these would fit my vehicle. Ordered and they arrived a day earlier than expected! And they are a MASSIVE improvement over the Deerc originals. All of the bounce was eliminated, along with the oil leakage. The only thing I had to do, (and you may have to as well, depending on your vehicle setup) was remove the small ball connectors that come pre-installed in the eyes on the ends of the shocks. I had to do this because the hardware that Deerc used to attach their shocks doesn't allow for the ball connectors, instead relying on a self-tapping screw with a thick shoulder, that takes up the space where the ball connectors woukd normally be. To remove these you only need a pair of small needle nose pliers, and a measure of patience. Again this may or may not be necessary depending on your individual car. Overall, great product at a great price point, that will add noticeable improvement to your 1/10 and 1/12 scale rc vehicles! Great job once again Haiboxing! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A+ *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on 8 July 2024* A+ --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/583832516-haiboxing1-12th-scale-rc-cars-spare-parts-aluminum-oil-filled](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/583832516-haiboxing1-12th-scale-rc-cars-spare-parts-aluminum-oil-filled) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
