I purchased this product after listening to Ben Greenfield's podcast on Essential Amino Acids. I Don't love the taste, but I expected that and don't want added fillers or junk in the product. I actually prefer it that way. I trust Ben's opinion that Essential Amino Acids are the way to go. I am taking this product in about 8 oz. of water as opposed to my typical 24 oz so that I don't have to sip on it. (It's not BAD tasting, but I simply don't love it and would rather get it down. If you're looking for something to sip on, give it a try. I will probably buy the pill form next time.

I gave it one star solely because of the taste. It is unbearable. I dont know if it is just this lime flavor or if all the flavors taste this bad, but I am extremely disappointed that I dropped this much money and can’t drink it. I even added it to my clear protein and could still taste the horribleness. Sorry Kion but you dropped the ball on this one.

This is the best product I’ve found so far. The ingredient profile is extremely clean, with sufficient leucine content and none of the unnecessary fillers or artificial sweeteners you see in most alternatives.The amino ratios are also very well balanced compared to other brands, which was a big factor for me.It is slightly more expensive, but in my opinion the quality justifies the price. From both a taste and formulation standpoint, it stands out above anything else I’ve tried.The lime flavor is subtle and not overpowering, especially considering it uses plant-based sweeteners. Very easy to drink consistently.

This product was fine but the actual flavor was hard to get down. I wouldn't buy it again because of the taste.

I take this product every morning for the health benefits of amino acids. I don’t have a perfect diet and this helps with what I’m missing. I love it and I have no complaints. It dissolves easily with minimal effort. I feel good when I take it. I have less fatigue and less brain fog, I feel calmer, and it curbs my hunger slightly. I’ve been using the Cool Lime flavor and I like it so much I’ll continue with that flavor. I mix it with water and sometimes, a little extra lemon or lemonade. I recommend that. I don’t notice an after taste or a chemical flavor. There are several reviews on here that are focused on the taste, so I’ll add: Of course the flavor is not as good as a real glass of cool limeade, or a real watermelon, but that’s because it’s a supplement, not a drink mix. This is the only Kion product I’ve tried but the quality is encouraging and I’m interested in trying others.

We as a family live this brand. My son is a college athlete and takes them every day. He feels so much better in recovery, energy and immunity when he takes it. He loves the lime, I like lime and berry. Mango is not too bad. Best to drink over ice. We like to combine it with a lemon lime hydration electrolyte. We feel the company is well researched and I listened to the owner talk about his research behind it and that sold us. Will continue to order from Kion.
