Mitsubishi Pencil UMNSP05.46 Gel Ballpoint Pen Uni-Ball One P 0.5 Yogurt

This pen is quite short, and thick, which gives a really pleasant writing experience if you are into a thicker hand hold. I wouldn't necessary recommend it for super long writing sessions but for under an hour it is awesome. The plastic as a slightly matte feel to it. The uni-ball refill is very nice and is dark black and smooth, it's also a huge plus that it fits sharpie s-gel and energel refills. The click is pretty nice. The clip is a great double as a fidget toy you can "click" by pressing to open and close. I thought I wasn't going to like this part of the pen but actually having a way to release and clip makes it super nice, seems firm enough. They have a spring stabilizer inside which is designed to stay in there with a plastic mechanism which makes replacing the refills super nice.

I have to have a pen with me. Leaving the house without a pen feels like I've left the house without my wallet, phone or keys. These One P pens are a great size for the pocket. These pens have replaced the Pilot G2 Mini as my EDC pen. The ink might be the blackest I've ever used, but writing is not as smooth or consistent as Jetstream ink. Ink dries fast, but not as fast as Jetstream ink. I love the fat barrel. I find it very comfortable. I love that the barrel takes full size Jetstream refills. No more cutting down Jetstream refills to fit Pilot G2 Mini barrels.

Addressing the elephant in the room; the pen is short yes, but it's still an amazingly fitting pen. A lot of times, I prefer to have a longer barrel pen because I have large hands but the Mitsubishi Uni-Ball One pen is amazing. Smooth and striking bold lines and and incredibly simple yet solid design. The ink distribution is appropriate and doesn't come out too much like some gel pens do. It doesn't smear if you touch the ink after you give it a second. Typically I would use this as a everyday pen or just for signatures if you want to keep it on you at all time. Highly recommend.

However, the yogurt color adds a touch of style, and I appreciate its neutral tone. The clicker mechanism of the pen is quite substantial and has almost an ASMR quality to it. Additionally, the wide body of the pen, as pictured, is a nice feature. However, despite its apparent sturdiness, the pen feels surprisingly light in the hand. While this doesn't necessarily indicate poor build quality, it doesn't offer the weightiness I personally prefer in a pen. Overall, the Mitsubishi Pencil UMNSP05.46 Uni-Ball One P Gel Ballpoint Pen is a solid choice for those who prioritize smooth writing and enjoy a compact design. However, individuals who prefer thicker ink and heftier pens may want to consider other options.

Great pen

Smoothest writer I own. Perfect 0.5 line, never blobs, never skips, and the body size feels just right in hand. Ink colors are super clean and vibrant, so it’s easy to color-code notes without switching pens. Once you use one, every cheap gel pen feels awful in comparison.

it wasn’t anything impressive. the ink flow was ok. it did skip at times in the beginning but evened out at the end. the short stubby body of the pen may cause hand cramps if your hand is larger. it’s nice to hold but not exactly great to write with for long periods of time. only thing i did greatly like is the clip - very nice and functional.

Well, the subject line kind of sums it up, not much to add here. I mean, it's a pen. It's not going to change your life or anything but with all the crap going on right now there's something to be said for learning how to find joy in the small things. The barrel is fat, so it's comfortable to hold; the clicker is satisfying af and the clip clips like a clip should clip. It writes smoothly with no skips because it's a uniball and it's just an excellent little thing. YAY.

this won the best stationary in Japan a few years ago and it has been the pen i use everyday since trying it out. very comfortable to use and writes amazingly. i have bought several different colors

LOVELY POCKET PEN from Uniball One series, love to collect more chubby bodies from this series. It has right width for hand to write on.
