Great for a TTC person
This mira fertility tracker is very expensive but it’s worth it as I have been able to track my hormones and it’s easy to use if all instructions are followed. I have never charged it for once the battery is very strong too. It’s been months I got it and it’s been very functional

Awful
This preys on the vulnerable, and either provides false reassurance or no assurance at all on ovulation. You’ll end up demanding blood tests from your GP due to all the distress it causes. My suspicion is this is one big con for the company to data mine our data!

Out of date test sticks
7/10 of the test sticks had an expiry date three days after order date. So there is no way I have an opportunity to use them. Considering the price of them this is totally unacceptable. The Packaging had also clearly been opened, so perhaps a return? The least that could be done is new stickers put on it to seal it so it gives the appearance of being new!!

Faulty unit, slow customer service
My unit is faulty. Won’t charge or turn on, then suddenly does days later. Looks to be working and goes black when I put a stick in. Customer service takes 48 hours to come back with generic next steps. It’s too long when we’re talking about a fertility window as can mean completely missing it. I had high hopes for this and was optimistic when I started using it, but it’s very expensive just to break.

Not happy
The item showed up open and looked like it was wet and been dried

Faulty unit
The Mira I was sent does not work, it keeps just saying “system error”. I’m doing everything correctly. Very frustrating.

Accurate hormone testing, helped us conceive!!
After trying to conceive for over a year using standard ovulation test strips, and I wasn't certain I was even ovulating every month, so I bit the bullet and spent the money for this. The Mira system has been so much more informative about what's going on with my hormones, and its ability to detect and even confirm ovulation is really, really helpful! It's really easy to use, and there are more options available in the app than I chose to explore. It's hard to say it was worth the cost, simply because it is SO expensive... but it IS basically at-home lab testing. I reasoned that it was worth the money if it would help us conceive without having to pursue fertility treatments. Thankfully, we just found out that I'm pregnant! I truly don't think it would've happened for us if I hadn't invested in this product. Since the wands are mad expensive, too, here's a suggestion: The app will recommend testing literally every day until your next period starts. To make the 20 pack of wands last more than a single month, I recommend that you stop testing once you A) confirm ovulation, or B) reach the point where ovulation should have happened if it was going to but looks like it isn't this month.

Great knowing my exact numbers
I have been using Mira for two cycles and have enjoyed it thus far. Pros- 1.) I enjoy that it gives me accurate numbers not just lines, so I know exactly when my spike is. Also, having the numbers is nice to pass to my fertility team and OBGYN. 2.) It’s easy to use and sync with your phone. Cons 1.) It’s expensive and the wands are extremely expensive. I’m using 40 wands ( Max and FSH) a cycle so that adds up quickly. 2.) I have had fault wands, which is frustrating when you’re paying so much for them. 3.) The numbers and their reports don’t tell you much. I think after a couple of cycles I will have more information to go off of, but my numbers fluctuate so much it’s hard to tell.

Unreliable product
Unfortunately, the Mira analyzer appears to be unreliable. Mine stopped working after about six months of use. When I contacted Mira Support, responses took roughly 48 hours, and I was asked to record a troubleshooting video to attempt a reset—even though the device is still within the 1-year warranty period. Given the high price point and the time-sensitive nature of using this product, I expected better reliability and more responsive customer support.

Worth every penny - got pregnant!
My husband & I wanted to get a better grasp on our reproductive health and we figured this would be a good start. I had minimal knowledge of how my hormones levels were & I wasn't due for an OB/GYN visit, so using an at-home fertility/ovulation tracker was our best bet. We used the tracker for about 4 months. However, we used Mira for the first 3 months for the device to get a better read on my hormones. It was well worth the wait because it predicted my ovulation was 4 days later than what my period app predicted, which I would've had no idea if it wasn't for Mira. When we finally felt like Mira had a good idea of my ovulation/fertile window, we decided to TTC that month (the 4th month of using Mira and the first month of actually trying)...and we did! Mira took the guess work out of the equation and eliminated a trip to the doctor's. The wands + the device are pricey, but I think it's worth it if you're really trying for a family.
