We decided to splurge on this chair for our nursery, and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made. I was worried about it fitting in our space, but it fits perfectly and has become an essential part of our daily routine. The comfort level is amazing—whether I’m nursing, rocking my baby to sleep, or just taking a moment to myself, this chair is a dream. The smooth swivel and rocking motion work wonders for helping my little one drift off to sleep, and the reclining feature is perfect for late-night feeds. What really sold us, though, is its sturdiness. It supports not just me and the baby but also our dog, who has declared this chair the unofficial family throne. We’ve tested this thing with all three of us piled on it, and it hasn’t so much as squeaked under the weight of our cozy chaos. It’s also versatile! Beyond being a lifesaver for naps and nursing, it works beautifully as a backdrop for monthly milestone photos (bonus: it looks great in pictures!). We plan to keep it for years to come and use it in other rooms after its nursery days are over. If you’re debating whether to spend a little more for a quality chair, trust me—it’s worth it. This has been one of the most used and loved pieces of furniture in our home. Pro Tip: Assembly was quick and easy, so you’ll be rocking (and possibly sharing it with your dog) in no time!

This chair is great. It’s not too big and not too small it’s just right. Both me and my husband fit in it perfectly and comfortably and we are a size large and x-large. The quality of the material is very good. It moves very easy, reclines smoothly, swivels, rocks, it’s great to have with a baby. We got the linen creme one and it’s just like the picture, it looks lovely. I’m so glad we bought this chair it’s gonna be highly used with a new baby. It was easy and quick to set up just a couple minutes. If your looking for a nursery chair this one is very nice an I recommend.

I love this chair. I bought it 2 years ago and I am reviewing it now on purpose. I purchased the off white linen fabric chair. The reclining is effortless (push button for reclining and back to normal) because of my disability with my hand. The buttons are on the right side. Also, charging capability for usb and usb-c (???). Both anyway. The chair swivels and rocks when not in reclining position. The chair doesn’t rock in reclining position however it does swivel but I don’t recommend doing that because you may bump something. When fully reclined, the head/back of the chair doesn’t go back to far that you bump into a wall but the reclining position is quite substantial. I love the reclining foot/leg area because there’s no open space. The fabric still looks new! I do wear a lot of sunscreen so I do place a big towel or blanket over the seat and foot/leg area of the chair to prevent staining. This chair is firm but not uncomfortable. It’s not squishy either so getting in and out of it is arthritis friendly, or other discomfort related issues. The cushion is still intact and not dented. I bought the standard size. I am 165lbs and average height so the chair doesn’t have a bunch of unused space by my sides. The chair itself could be considered “good for small spaces” because it’s not a traditional recliner that is big and bulky. It’s also very disguised looking. No one knew it was a recliner! It arrived very nicely packaged without issues. Simple assembly with only putting the bottom ring on. The chair plugs in. The cord is forgiving but not long and obnoxious. 🙂 (The pics are dark. Sorry! I’m doing this at night because I have a few minutes to get this done now).

The chair is so comfortable and well-designed — exactly what we needed as new parents. My wife loves this chair. However, Package delivery left us with some concerns. The package arrived improperly sealed, and when setting it up, we noticed the manual references a plastic lock on the bottom to prevent swiveling during transit. Ours had been replaced with zip ties instead. It's a minor thing, but it made us wonder whether the unit was truly new or had been previously returned and repackaged. [Edit] Chita customer service clarified that the older version of the chair had a plastic lock on the bottom, but the new version uses zip ties instead. Previously units used safety locks, but some customers forgot to take them off before rocking the chair, which caused damage to the chair frame. So they replaced it with zip ties instead

Absolutely worth it. I wanted a glider that had a high enough back to rest my head, could turn on its base, had an electric footrest, and had the control buttons on the outside. This chair had all of it! Very comfortable and had gotten a lot of use in the last year. I would recommend! It is very heavy, so make sure you have help to move it.

Bought this for a family member going through chemo. Very soft and comfortable. The light green is pretty. The controls are smooth and uncomplicated. When fully reclined it lays almost flat. She likes the lumbar support. Glider/swivel is quiet and smooth. Very pleased.

I’m honestly really impressed with this CHITA power recliner. It looks so high-end in person - elegant, modern, and it instantly elevates the whole room the moment you set it up. It’s also incredibly comfortable and functional. The swivel, gliding, rocking, and reclining features all move smoothly, and the power controls make it super easy to adjust. It’s the kind of chair you sit in thinking you’ll just relax for a few minutes, and then suddenly realize you’ve been there way longer because it’s that comfortable. Another thing I love is the material. It’s so easy to clean, just a quick wipe and it looks fresh again, which is perfect for everyday use. The built-in charging ports are such a great bonus too … really convenient for your phone, Kindle, or tablet when you just want to settle in and not get up. You can honestly use this in a nursery or just in your room for reading and relaxing. I originally got one thinking it would go in the nursery, but I loved it so much I might actually keep this one in my room and get another for the nursery instead. 🤭

We purchased the brown vinyl chair as a glider for our nursery. It came very quickly, is quite beautiful, feels very sturdy and is very comfortable. I'm 5'6 and I have no trouble reaching the floor to rock this and it glides smoothly. Reclining is a dream (tip: lift up on your legs when the motor is working, just so its less work for it to do). My one regret is that perhaps we should have bought the fabric chair. The off gassing from the vinyl has been going on for about a month and it still smells terrible. I've tried everything from opening windows to running an air purifier with a carbon filter, and the chemical smell still lingers. I love this chair and the smell has to dissipate at some point, but as we are expecting baby any day now, I think it'll have to be moved out of his nursery for now. EDIT: it has been about a month and a half since we bought this chair and we love it for the nursery. The vinyl off gassing smell is gone. 3 months later: continue to be glad we made this purchase (although I do like to have an extra pillow behind my back while rocking baby, my husband doesn't needone). I love this is QUIET which has come in handy when moving sleeping baby. Or when I'm sitting near the crib helping him fall asleep on his own, I can sit here for a long time comfortably.

After 6+ years our glider rocker finally bit the dust. Decided to give this one a try, and wasn't disappointed. It is a little wider than we expected, however it's extremely comfortable, and assembly literally took 20 seconds. Other great features are that it includes a couple USBs for those late night feedings or comforting your little one. Also, the powered recline is nice, and the motor is pretty quiet which is helpful. The rocking and swivel are both quiet. It should be noted that you are unable to rock the chair, while also being reclined.

Amazing! Faux Leather, swivel and recliner all in one! Exactly what I was looking for to add to the living room, for Me!

This chair is great. It's comfortable and very modern looking. It doesn't take up a large footprint which we wanted due to space but still feels big when sitting in it. I am a 6ft 220lb man and there is still room to spare when I am holding my daughter. I like how the foot rest raises a good amount before the back rest starts to decline. Would definitely recommend this chair for a nursery.
