I’m keen to buy but find my Parmesan cheese always goes mouldy - how can I prevent this, I.e. store it?

Beeswaxed paper, but TBH i put it in a sealable freezer bag and keep it in the fridge - lasts a couple of months (to be honest if it lasts that long in our house, then something is awry)
