I planned on buying another blade lid doo dad for my ninja twisti duo when I first bought it, just in case... But I never did. Fast forward probably a year and a half I really wished I had. I started to smell this very odd smell when making my morning iced protein shakes. I thought maybe some milk had leaked and the machine itself needed to be cleaned. I smelled the ninja, no smell, but I cleaned it anyway. The next day I make my shake, the smell is worse and it's super loud. When I opened it plume of smoke came out and when I looked at the lid it was BUBBLING!! The middle bolt that holds and rotated the blades on was melting the plastic and then cooling and repeating!! After I saw that I definitely didn't use it again. I went on a hunt and was afraid I would end up getting the wrong one becasue I couldn't find one specifically for my twisti duo til I found this lid! It's perfect, it doesn't leak, very snug and it works soooo well!! I will be ordering another one very soon. I'm so happy with it. It is black, not the original gray, but who cares. It also feels almost grippy when I try to open it, it's not but it feels nice. I do have to use a lil silicone lid opener though. So yes. I do recommend this!! Notice the gray one and the rusty melted middle bolt. I did run it through the dishwasher once a week, but hand washed it every other day. I will strictly wash and hand dry this new one, just to be safe.

I'm happy to say this works great for my Ninja smoothie maker. We lost the original while traveling so I'm glad we could get a replacement for a decent price. So yeah overall no issues! Fits perfectly and blends well.

It fits well and works great. It is way too loud and not quite than the original one. Fins are not at an angle to reduce the noise. However, for blending related tasks, it is amazing and does the job efficiently. Given how the blender has its auto mode, I do not need to be in the room. However, your neighbors will likely hate you. It is quite durable as it is up and running for months now. Quite sharp, doesn't leak.

I was using our Ninja blender over the weekend when I heard a screeching sound coming from the original blade that came with the blender. Given my experience with blenders, I knew enough to know screeching isn't normal behavior, so I paused and checked the blade. It had completely seized up, for reasons still currently unknown, since we regularly maintain our blades and make sure to clean/dry them and not blend hot items. Not sure. Either way, I went online to scope out replacements, and this one looked promising, so I went ahead and ordered one. Initial impressions are great, including speed to ship/deliver. Build quality seems fairly high. If anything, the slightly reoriented blades in the center seem to actually have a better orientation than on the OEM blade (facing the items to be chopped when spinning instead of facing the other direction like on the OEM blade). Fit onto the blender cup and onto the base is 10/10. If you didn't tell me this blade was aftermarket, I wouldn't know it wasn't OEM. I can't speak to longevity yet since we've only had/used this blade for a few days, but we haven't run into any issues yet. That said, I'll update this review if anything changes, but so far, I'm happy with this blade.

I had the notorious bearing failure in my original blade base. I looked at some different options before coming across this one and I'm glad I did. When it arrived, it right away was sharp and the quality was indistinguishable from the original one I had. It was immediately apparent though that the blades had an improved design. During first use, it did a good job of moving the material around and getting a good blend. Normally I would have to shake the blender to get everything to move but this did it just fine. The only con I had was the blade came loose from the packaging. The nut on the bottom was only hand tight. I took an 8mm wrench to the hex shaft on the blade side and channel locks to hold the nut to tighten it down.

Super Sharp and almost looked better than an OEM part, however there's a low quality washer that sits in between the screw of the blade and the plastic piece which simply wore out in less than 2 months. Lasting impression of simply should have paid the extra 20 bucks for an OEM part via Ninja.

I bought this along with 2-18 oz. containers. All really great. I appreciated that this came with a safety container that's easy to set the blade in when not in use. Fits and works perfectly.

This is a legit replacement part. I don’t see what all the negative reviews are about. Save your hard earned money and get this instead of OEM. There’s no difference.

Waste of money - it is barely aligning with the security sensors on the blender; you will need to push or twist the cup hard to get it working for a couple of seconds.
