Review: Probably the best lightweight gloves available - My favorite pair of riding gloves are Fox dirtpaws from over 20 years ago.. I think I got my pair in the year 2005.. they are still good but the rubber grip part of one of the fingers is finally starting to fall apart.. so I bought this new pair.. of course the design is slightly different, the newer pair actually works with the touch screen on devices such as my smartphone which is an awesome convenience.. of course they don't feel as familiar as a pair of 20-year-old gloves when they are new, but I wore them today for a long ride, they just came in the mail today.. I actually forgot I was wearing them. they are totally comfortable from day one.. so after they are broken in, I guess they will be even better if that's even possible. I love these gloves. they are my favorite lightweight riding gloves. good for hot weather or whenever it's warm enough to wear them. anything heavier is not as comfortable in my opinion. you can feel the grips on the bike really well. The palm side of the gloves are made of Clarino, a synthetic leather that works on touch screens. the back side of the gloves is made of breathable nylon and has little tpr armor pieces on the back of the finger. not so big that they look crazy but they probably actually offer some protection in some way. I show a photo of my older gloves with the white fox and then a photo of the all black ones that I bought now. The stitching seems to be perfect and the quality is excellent. they have a slight bit of padding to prevent hand fatigue, the padding doesn't seem to be noticeable at all when riding. they are totally comfortable. I would say my hands look like medium size for a man, and the size large fits my hands well, so if you have large hands for a man, then you probably want extra large.
