Excellent quality. Easy installation.
This weather proof cover is far superior to the original contractor supplied cover. Very well constructed and allows for it to be locked if desired. Works vertical or horizontal. The seal and base layer allow for use with GFI, duplex, switch or round outlets. I had a GFI fail. While replacing the outlet I found the cover seals were gone. No more weather protection and most likely the reason the outlet failed. Replacing the cover with this Bell unit took less than 5 minutes. Great fit and a solid seal against the weather. Time to check and replace my other exterior outlets with these Bell waterproof covers.

Solid Cover
I’ve had several exterior outlet covers over the years. So many of them are plastic, cheap and and eventually fall apart. This one is really well-made, it’s metal and heavy duty. Installation was super easy and everything feels solid and waterproof. I highly recommend.

Decent quality, worked fine.
Worked just fine. We have a house about 25 years old and it was high time to replace all the electrical outlets and switches, just for upkeep and keep the house feeling less old. I got these to replace two outside outlets, and they worked very well. Nice quality and fitting. I kinda wish the insulating foam gasket was just a little thicker, or if they could have provided 2 styles to best handle the job, but it's okay with what was provided. I don't expect water to make it inside. Anyway, recommended.

Spring Loaded Door is hard to grab
5 stars for ease of installation, 4 stars for operational usability… the smooth rounded edges are beautiful but the design only has 1 tiny lip to open the spring loaded door, unfortunately the lip is unreachable in my recessed installation

Better than expected.
I needed to replace the cover on an outdoor GFI plug. I bought this and I’m very pleased. It is made of a heavy plastic and will last for years. Very well made.

Nice cast cover installs properly in existingmount holes. Would be 5 stars if it flipped open another few degrees, seems like it hardly opens 90⁰ from closed but everything seems to plug in fine so far
