My first one had an understandable defect and I contacted Asterom. Oleg responded quickly and very politely resolved my issue beyond my expectations. I can't say enough about this cane, or their support in the unlikely case you require it. I'm a tall guy and have even found it solid and sure footed on uneven surfaces like cobblestone. The tip is very good rubber but is also shaped and thick so as to smooth out the ground for us. I highly recommend.

To my surprise, the replacement cane from desertcart arrived several days earlier than anticipated. It fits together as expected, very nicely. I've included a couple pictures of the bad alignment, and the off-center hole. I've requested a return and exchange. I'll update my review upon receipt of the replacement.

Incredible cane! Extremely strong and confidence inspiring. Handle fits great and is comfortable. Wood throughout looks fantastic. My first one had an understandable defect and I contacted Asterom. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The PERFECT cane, period!

Had a little accident and broke several bones in my left foot. According to the doc, a cane will be a good idea even after the bones heal. So I decided if I'm gonna be on the gimpy side, I'm at least going to do it with style. Though the price of this cane was considerably higher than most, I can now attest that -- da-yum -- it was SO worth it! The craftsmanship is evident from the moment you take the cane from the carefully-packed box. In a word, it is beautiful! It feels super-solid in the hand and the weight, while not exactly "heavy," is definitely substantial; it inspires confidence. Also, I'm not a violent guy, but this thing would work about as well as a baseball bat with regard to self-defense. It's that formidable. The handle is meticulously crafted and fits my hand like I was born with it there. The finish is impeccable and the brass band is a thing of beauty. Seriously, everything about this cane just screams quality and brilliant design. I bought a slightly longer one than I thought I might need and cut it down to size (removing about an inch) with a miter box saw. The rubber foot was a tiny bit difficult to remove, but that has to be the case in order to keep it in place during heavy usage. It's also nice that they sent along a second rubber foot and a wrist strap, though I'm not using that at the moment. I got the deep cherry red finish on mine and it looks GREAT. I've been using mine for the past week or two and can attest that it works about as well as one could hope for. It feels like a natural extension of my arm and provides all the support I'll (hopefully) ever need. If you're looking for the best cane for any money, look no further. You're not going to find anything better. This thing is essentially perfect, and that's not a word I use often.
