ZINUS 12 Inch True Support Hybrid Mattress [New Version], Queen, Fiberglass Free, Medium Feel, Motion Isolation, Certified Safe Foams & Fabric, Mattress in A Box

After about a month, I am happy with this mattress. I was honestly about ready to drop $2000 on a Saatva mattress, buy then I saw people on Reddit talking about how even those mattresses can have problems after a few years. If I spend a huge chunk of money on something, I want it to last many years. This mattress is a great price for King size. I don't expect it to last more than a few years, or less, but it's fine for now. The edge support is obviously lacking, it's noticeable when you sit on the edge of the bed. But you are paying for a mattress to sleep on, not something to sit on. I was about ready to get rid of my king size bed set, because king size mattress prices are crazy. I almost bought a Dreamcloud mattress, and I almost bought a Nectar mattress. But everyone says those only last a couple years. So I settled for this. I'm happy I went this route. In a couple years I'll probably upgrade, but I have other priorities with my finances at the moment. I am 6'4" 190lbs and this mattress feels great for me. I would probably be happier if it was more firm, but it's quite comfy and has good support. The setup process was easy, even by myself with a king size. It was delivered early in the morning and it was fine to sleep on it that night. No smells or anything. Update: 16 months later, I am still surprised by the quality for this price ($309 for king). There are some obvious indentations (I'm a 200lb 6'3" side sleeper). It's been just myself using this, and I've switched up sleeping on both sides to increase the life of the mattress. I think I rotated it once. It will probably only last another year, maybe 2, but I do feel like that's good for the price. I never wake up with pain. Still has good support. This mattress would be a particularly fantastic choice for a guest bed that doesn't get frequent use.

Very cozy and firm for back support, opened and inflated easily and quickly, a bit shorter than I expected but I figure I should've gotten a 12" or 14" in that case, affordable and delivered quickly.

Amazon should allow Zero star ratings, which is what all the mattress and the company deserve. Within 4 months of starting to use it, the mattress was sagging, lumpy, and so uncomfortable that we swapped it for a used mattress from our base housing. I contacted the company with photos of the issue; and they repeatedly jerked us around, demanding additional photos with each new email. They then denied that our mattress was defective. The mattress arrived on time and was well packaged in a compact box. After unboxing, it expanded properly within the recommended timeframe. The hybrid design combines foam and springs to provide consistent support. The medium feel strikes a good balance between firmness and softness. Weight distribution felt even, offering decent support for the back and spine. Motion transfer was minimal during movement, which is helpful for shared sleep. Being fiberglass-free adds peace of mind from a safety perspective. Breathability seems better compared to traditional all-foam mattresses. Comfort levels may vary depending on body type and sleeping position. Overall, this mattress offers solid value and reliable performance for the price.

Mattress is the perfect firmness for my weight. Very roomy for us and the dog. Great price! Just wish it had handles on the sides to help when rotating. Did end up needing a topper for my hips, but still comfortable. Holding up well to plus size people.

Buying a mattress online is HARD!! Fortunately a friend bought these mattresses for her rental home and was extremely happy wtih them, so I thought they should be good enough for my guest room. We had a chance to try them out a couple days after receiving them - our guests slept so well, they overslept twice! We bought 2 twins which could be pushed together to form a king. We purchased a mattress bridge to fill any gap between, and it worked perfectly. The intent is to separate into 2 twins for when our grandsons visit, and join to form a king when couples are visiting. So far, they are firm and comfortable. Contrary to some of the reviews, there was no odor and the mattresses fully inflated to the promised 10”. It is incredibly difficult to take a chance ordering a mattress online - hard enough in person! But this gets a 5 because so far, I’m not only relieved, but very satisfied with the quality of the mattress. Of course I’ll be back here if durability become an issue!

I bought a King for myself and a Queen for my son a year ago this month and they’re both still going strong! I had lower back problems from sleeping on a memory foam mattress for too long before I bought this mattress. This hybrid mattress immediately helped my back out. It’s firm but definitely not too firm. The corners and edges are a bit flimsy if you like to sit in those spots but as far as sleep goes this mattress is far better than the $1200 one I got from mattress firm about 6 years ago!

This beds dimensions are not the same as any mattress I have had and I've always had a king size. My feet hang off the end of the bed when I sleep. It is supposed to be non-motion transferring but I can feel every move anyone makes on my bed. I added a few toppers because it is very firm. The firmness is too much for me and I have had similar beds in fact My one before this was the same brand and this is completely different. It's been disappointing overall for me. Just overall not impressed in fact I will replacing it shortly.

I was a little afraid of committing to this mattress. I've been sleeping on an extra-firm continuous spring mattress with no foam layer on top for almost twelve years, and I worried that any foam would negatively affect my sleep, and that a mattress from online couldn't possibly be as firm as the one I'd got on clearance back then. Thankfully, this mattress lives up to its promises. Beautifully firm and supportive, and the foam on top isn't too thick or marshmallow-y. The pocket coils are great at isolating movement, I can't feel the cat jumping on and off the bed at night anymore. It's been a month, and once I got used to the slight differences, I've been sleeping just as well as on the old one at its best. The instructional insert is a little condescending ("hand to the responsible one") but the mattress itself is the important bit, and it's everything I hoped it would be. The only big downside is, there's zero reinforcement at the sides. If you need edge support, or there's more than one person sleeping on a full/double mattress, this isn't gonna be a great choice for you, because the mattress will just roll you off in the night. Not a downside for me, but it could be for someone else.

It was supposed to be for queen size but it’s smaller in size. Also, it says extra firm but it is not even close to medium firm. Also, there is not support on edges and a person can easily fall if goes near to the edges of the mattress. Now, they are also not letting us return as well. Customer service said we have to ship this mattress through Canada post at our own cost. If you guys can ship the mattress to us then why just can’t pick it up as well? Why would i order the mattress online if I would be have to stress about the shipping? Instead i would have simply bought it from stores like ikea. This is very unacceptable and poor customer service.

I bought this Mattress for a Semi Truck - this Mattress is 12 inches thick - For a Mattress this thick Ideally You should have sides that are 6 to 8 inch's high so You well not roll out or off the Mattress and You do not need a box spring - the way this Mattress is made there are springs on the bottom side the Mattress replaced a mattress that was very uncomfortable I knew nothing of Mattress's before this -- a Mattress that is a Gel Foam well freeze and break This style of Mattress ( well not freeze ) this Mattress well absorb Your body Heat and is very comfortable the Mattress I have is a Medium for softness I am Very Happy with My Purchase and the Quality of the Mattress

Was advertised as an extra firm but felt more like a medium firm. Thankfully, I got a refund for it.

Great mattress for the price you pay. No sign of back pain so far. Good back support. Firm yet soft enough to be confortable. It has been 2 weeks that I am using and super recommend.
