my stickers won't stay stuck
I want to love this product because I enjoy my home smelling of fresh citrus loveliness rather than of the various things including cat poo that my loo often smells of. (That's shaming nobody but my cats and they really don't care what you think of them). This really does smell great, and the fragrance is quite natural and fresh. Not at all like chemicals and the old Glade sprays! And I really appreciate that they use less plastic in their packaging so are a *slightly* more sustainable choice. However, 2 out of 3 sticky pods have not actually stuck to where they should stick. I have placed them in exactly the same spot, and whilst 1 lasted a good couple of weeks, one fell immediately into the toilet, and one lasted just a single flush. This might be entirely down to user error but honestly if I'm not capable of using this without wasting 60% of them, I should look for a truly idiot proof alternative. I don't like waste. :(

Tried for the first time - useless!
Thought I'll try these after I saw them advertised a while ago. Always used Toilet Duck Fresh Discs up until now, never had any issues with them - they always stuck perfectly, no hassle, nice smell and lasted quite a while. NOT the case with these. I followed the instructions to a 't', thought, great, sticks fine. A while later, I went to the bathroom and wondered where it is....it was gone. Okay, I thought, I'll give it another go, following the instructions even more carefully....only this one disappeared with the first flush. Didn't smell of anything either. And no, I did not remove the cellophane wrapping. Who tests these things? Needless to say I'll never buy them again and have requested (and been given) a full refund. UPDATE - one of them DID stick (21st of August) and the photo shows how tiny it is after just a week. Only a 2-people household. Have gone back to Duck Fresh Discs. TRIED the last one yesterday...that one disappeared on me too. AND the only one that did stick disintegrated after a week and there was zero scent either.

You need to think
I am not a vine reviewer of a free product, I actually bought mine ... but, not being bitter, let us move on ... You get four discs for your money, each disc lasts about 160/70 full flushes. You pull it out of the packaging and find each disc is wrapped in a 'cellophane' cover; you leave the cover on and push the whole thing against the inside of a wet toilet bowl below the rim, you push hard and count to any number more than three. You can put it actually slightly out of sight and under the rim if you wish If you remove the 'cellophane' wrapping before you press it in place, it will fall off. After a flush or two the 'cellophane' that is not sticking it to the bowl will wash away and you will see a foaming chemical in the bowl that is cleaning it. Seems to do a good job The very nature of a toilet bowl dictates that, for a general interior surface clean before it settles to deep-clean the water at the bottom, you put it at the front - if you need a more intense cleaning at the rear of the bowl (you know what I mean), place it at the back The whole design of a toilet bowl is, among other things, to restrict smells coming out of the bowl and into the room. This will fill the bowl with the chosen scent and it will subtly overflow with the flush. If you wanted something to act as a room air freshener, you need to buy an air freshener that sits outside the bowl! A little bit pricey to be honest but, if you do not like bleach or using a toilet brush for three seconds .. it does what it says it will
