I used the appropriate setting added my wood chips and viola! “Probably the best ribs I have ever had said my wife and grown up kids”. A few days later a whole chicken, using the probe attachment made it perfect, cooked well but still moist inside. Finally a whole shoulder of lamb- again using the probe. Cleaning is so much easier than a traditional barbecue and so is start up. If you have people for lunch you are not stuck at the end of the garden tending the flames, this does most of the work for you. Is it easy - yes Does it make great tasting food - yes.
