Hexagon Bike Wrench Tool I Extra Long Bicycle Pedal Wrench 33 cm

Read the other reviews on this with disbelief as my Look pedal was so tight onto my Chorus crank I was reconciled to new cranks and pedals. So as a last resort I chucked c £20 at this product and low and behold, it did the trick. What you're paying for is a high quality hex bit that won't warp, turn, strip or snap under pressure. Handle length gives good grip and leverage. Allan keys + leverage bars, torque wrench etc - forget it, get one of these! 8mm + 6mm fits most Shimamo spd pedals + others (eg Look). All in all, a no brainer and an investment. My bespoke bike builder LBS has one, says it all.

Brilliant tool! I had a 2 hour battle with one pedal, using hex keys, a mallet, an impact driver and still lost! I bought this in hope and desperation, and within 2 minutes the pedal was off! Everyone should have one in their toolbox.

Stuck pedals are the type of situation that makes you want to cry. I tried using standard allen keys and just didn’t have enough leverage. I expect the key would have broken before the pedal moved. I also tried using a Park Tool 15mm pedal spanner but that’s was just rounding off the pedal. I looked online and some people were suggesting using a blowtorch to heat and expand the crank!!!! I gave up and called my LBS. They were going to charge £25 to come out, which I was almost willing to pay. The mechanic was confident the job wouldn’t take more than 30 mins. In our discussion of what I’d already tried I told him the pedal spammer was rounding off the pedal. After mentioning this he said it’s all about having the right tools. My pedal spanner is slightly damaged and wasn’t a perfect fit on the pedals. I was original going to buy the Park Tool PW4 pedal spanner (£27.99) which is a heavier duty spanner. Whilst searching for it I found this hex spanner. I was skeptical at first but it has worked perfectly!!!!! I’m so relieved!!!! I used a piece of plywood jammed between the pedal and the seat tube and after applying a bit of force the pedals moved. By ‘a bit of force’ I mean I wasn’t red face, swearing and sweating force. No damage to the pedals, spanner or frame. The spanner is well engineered. It’s long enough to give you the right amount of leverage and is a great price. It fits 6 and 8mm pedals. I’ll probably return the park took spanner because I don’t really need it. If you have stuck pedals buy this tool!

I had a stuck pedal after accidentality tightening it, the small wrench distorted and sheered smooth; a cheap soft metal. I bought this Allen wrench and received it the next day. As soon as I got it in place and found the right position and leverage to carefully apply some force, it nudged. I applied a second time and it came loose. I saw other reviews practically singing this product's praises. It worked as well as others had stated. It's great, I do recommend.

This is a quality wrench with an 8mm and 6mm Allen key fitting. Good job because the pedals I took off required the 8mm fit and the new pedals I put on required the 6mm fit. The length of the wrench gives good leverage. If your changing pedals that require an Allen key fitting I would highly recommend this wrench.

This tool makes removing pedals so much easier and is brilliant value for money compared to the more favoured park tools which usually cost twice the price. A 15mm spanner was not an option for me as I use Crank Brother Candy 1 egg beater pedals on my mountain bike. I had a Torpeak mini tool that had the 8mm hex, but couldn’t get the leverage to remove a fairly well seized pedal. I was half expecting to be taking the bike down the walk of shame to my local bike shop to fix a simple job, but the hex wrench made light work of it and took no less than a few mins to remove both sides. Delivery was quick too.

Struggling to get a bike pedal off was not a problem any more once this arrived, two seconds and it came off. Great leverage on this!

Tolles Werkzeug, um eine SRAM Dub, mit 54 Nm angezogen, kinderleicht zu lösen. Einmal 8mm Innensechskant ansetzen und Schraube war gelöst. Sehr zu empfehlen😉😉😉

Dovevo togliere un pedale look Leo dalla mia bici da corsa. Avevo provato tutte le chiavi a brugola che avevo e non ero riuscito a svitarlo a causa dell'ossidazione. Con questa chiave ci ho messo un secondo senza neanche fare forza. È robusta con manico lungo e impugnatura in gomma e permette di avere una ottima forza nella torsione con il minimo sforzo. Ha due brucole per lato una da 6 e una da 8. La straconsiglio!
