I love this fish food and my fish love it too. The pellets sink well, and my cichlids hit the bottom fast and eat it right up with barely any waste. After feeding this consistently, I’ve noticed brighter colors and more energy/stronger activity from my fish, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I also like that it’s made with all natural ingredients and uses prawns as part of the formula, which makes it feel like a higher-quality carnivore diet. No weird smell and it doesn’t instantly cloud my water like some cheaper foods. If you’ve got cichlids (or other carnivore/omnivore fish that prefer sinking pellets), this is an easy recommend.

I was hoping the pellets were bigger for my axolotls but that's ok. Got a cichlid tank that will love them.

My pick eater cichlid is eating every single meal now. While the others fish will eat anything that falls in the water, this pick eater cichlid, that I have for nine years, is now enjoying his food. I would say for him it’s a great food.

Fish like it, but Pellets are fairly small and can get lost in the ground cover gravel.

This year after most of my fish died of old age, I decided to try lake Malawian cichlids. I’ve never kept African cichlids before. Some of them are vegetarians and some carnivores and they have delicate digestive issues. This food has things that these cichlids need to be healthy. The pellets are small enough for young fish, and sink for bottom dwellers to find. Comes with a spoon for measured feeding. Was readily accepted by electric yellows and platinum parrots. I use along with frozen and flake

My Cichlids LOVE this food. Excellent high quality in air tight container to keep fresh. Highly recommend this for Cichlids. Don’t over feed. Not all the food floats but the fish love to snatch the sinking ones and then feast on residual on the sand bottom. I feed 9 three inch Cichlids 1-1/2 spoonfuls using the spoon that comes inside the container.

I personally do not like the way it tastes. But the fish love it. In fact, this is the second or third time I am buying it. The size of the package is grape...oops...package is great. The small sizes that are sold are too small and price wise this size is cost effective [CHEAPER}. The fish are thriving...they never once missed a day of swim class while in their school of fish.

Great cichlids but be advised this food is NOT for any fish less then 3 inches. My rainbow choked and died in a matter of minutes after eating this. Another rainbow had it stuck but thankfully dislodged it before following suit. After doing some research I’m not the first one to have this happen on this specific pellet. If you have other fish with big cichlids I would look for something else.
