I am chained to my laptop for work and studies as much as the next person. Hot drinks help me get through the day without eating continuously, but making a hot drink every hour is really time consuming and my caffeine addiction was ever growing… until I got this mug. Little did I know, I was guzzling my hot drinks in anticipation of them becoming cold and miserable to drink. I initially got this mug to have coffee at university and escape the 20p cup levy. Now, I use this cup for every hot drink I make, and I can take occasional, hot sips at my leisure without the fear of my drink becoming cold driving me to inhale enough caffeinated beverage to drown a baby elephant. I’ve gone from a minimum of 6 hot drinks a day to 3. An absolutely remarkable, unexpected benefit. Then there’s the mug itself - it’s shape is sleek and the drinking experience is very similar to a regular takeaway coffee cup. The size and placement of the drinking hole and the smooth plastic (with no plastic taste) are perfect, even tea tastes normal out of this cup. When sealed, it stays hot for several hours. I found out the hard way it’s not leak proof if you forget to close the lid, but that was my stupidity’s fault and no way a flaw in this mug. I haven’t been confident to let it loose in my bag from past experiences of travel mugs and the potential to unclip the lid accidentally (unlikely but possible), but upright it has been fine and it’s passed every hot shake test I’ve given it. It has become a little scratched in my bag which might be something to note. Overall, I’m beyond pleased with my purchase. I have one less excuse to procrastinate by making hot drinks (but instead I’m writing an overly detailed Amazon review. Can someone write this essay for me please?)

It actually keeps coffee/drinks hot for hours! I had a frank green cup for years and was going to buy again, but the price put me off and wanted one that actually kept my coffee hot. I would give it 5* but the tab you lift to drink from is so stiff, it does however mean the drink does not spill.

I recently lost my beloved coffee cup and I needed a replacement so I found this. Not only is this affordable and stylish, but it is immensely practical. It is the perfect size to carry and it fits in a backpack pocket. I really like how it is so well-insulated that you can't feel the heat from the outside so it doesn't burn you. The only issue is that you have to be careful not to fill it up too much because if you do, the pressure causes the cup to leak a bit. Basically, make sure there's no liquid on the lid before you close it otherwise you might have a bit of leakage. But, overall, I'm really impressed with this cup!

This is a very nice coffee mug and looks like it would be pretty leakproof even if not carried upright. Unfortunately, the clip that covers the drinking hole is incredibly stiff to open and close - I've noticed my hands becoming much less strong as I've got older and I'm afraid it's just too difficult to open and close for me now, so it's going back. But if you're young and strong enough to operate the clip easily, it looks good, is exactly the right size and seems like a good quality cup.
