Get it !
This book was my gateway into the Tarot de Marseille and i couldn't be happier about it. Simple , concise , easy to read and understand and above all inspiring . The author is very down to earth and not given to flights of imagination which provides a very solid and sober base for future study. Also his passion for the images is so contagious , it's wonderful. Very detailed info about both the major and minor arcana. Highly recommend it , specially with the CBD deck in hand . The deck is also available on Amazon and it's fantastic

Truly beautiful
Im going to keep this concise: for me, this is the best book available on the Tarot by far. Stunning visuals, high quality feel and incisive insight - combined with Jodorowsky's vibrant variant (another magnum opus), the seeker need look no further. This masterpiece is a fitting legacy to the outstanding work of the late Dr Yoav Ben-Dov. A truly beautiful book.

Brilliant introduction to Marseille
I would definitely recommend this gem of a book to anyone who wants to try their hand at reading traditional tarot. Clear, concise and relatable. Definitely one to purchase for Marseille tarot Lovers. For more detailed information on reading the Marseille"The Way Of Tarot " by Alejandro Jodorowsky is definitely worth a read too.

Good book on open readings of TdM
This book is good book on interpreting the Tarot de Marseille with more of a open reading style method. Good sample readings. Ben-Dov is a 3 card spread type of guy, so no complicated spreads in this book. Good colored illustrations of CBD Tarot deck, with meaning for each card including the pips. Good quick interpretation reference list in the back of the book too. No RWS symbolism in this book, just fairly plain TdM. This book would be one of the books you may want to have, to give you that open style approach to the cards. There are other books out there that cover this style too, that you may want to consider; The Way of Tarot or Marseille Tarot Towards the Art of Reading.

A good book on the tarot. Great researcher.
One of the best I've read to date on The Tarot. He's a very good researcher. So pleased to see him using the Marseille deck. I get fed up with the Rider-Waite deck in all books on tarot.

best book to start learning marseille
this book is probably the best starting book for tarot de marseille, along with towards the art of reading by camelia elias. both use a similar approach and both are really friendly. whereas camelia gives examples and teaches that way, ben dov gives a bit more space to theory and explaining the method. wonderful, wonderful book.

Comprehensive and easy to read
Easy to read in both the writing style, organisation, and also the large format, font, and images. The enlarged card images really makes it easier to appreciate what Yoav Ben-Dov is putting across. The paper quality is semi-gloss which reminds me of school textbooks, making colours rich and not glaring for the eyes. It's rather bulky so best for a comfortable study at home.I've been gathering lots of Tarot knowledge across the Internet but this is extensive and coherent, and provides additional ideas that perhaps are dispersed all over websites and forums. This book covers not just open reading (intuitive approach) but provides the traditional meanings and keywords for the Tarot de Marseille (TdM). This would give a boost in confidence for reading the TdM and Rider-Waite-Smith deck.

A good guide.
I would not say is for beginners but is a good guide and specially cause this is for the Marseille tarot.

NOT the best.
My review would differ from a lot of tarot readers who rave about Yoah Ben Doav's work. I am highly disappointed that this book has more of a psychological meaning kind of shade to it over predictive style, which Marseille tarot is all about.
